There are at least two glaring misconceptions in this piece. There are two comments sections. One to leave an actual comment, and the other to report an error. I have used both of these. Please do the same.

There is some bad news on this today. I don't remember it all, but it's on the American Kratom Assocation's facebook page. It's not good, and seems profoundly insulting.
Susan Ash On today's hearing - unfortunately it was a bust, it demonstrated how corrupt Alabama politicians are and it was totally rigged. The veteran was interrupted and treated with such disrespect he was in tears...they wouldn't let him continue (had the nerve to say he was in contempt) with his story once they found out he was opposed to the bill. Chris Denney was called but didn't get to speak. Travis spoke and did well but was rushed along, interrupted and told he was taking too long even though he was only reading from a 2-page factsheet. People were there to testify that Kratom is synthetic heroin, family members are addicted, and it's causing people to relapse and stay in treatment longer. I'm sorry to be the bearer of such bad news and we've got some extremely upset people out there frown emoticon . BUT, the bill must crossover to the House where we are told there will at least be an actual public hearing (if they don't run the clock on this first). And we do have commitments from some Reps that they will hold it up in the House. Alabama is a crossover state - there is a deadline that bills must cross over from one chamber to the next (in this case Senate to House) and we have some commitments to stall this until we can hopefully get the votes. Hope that makes sense! Still a lot of work to do...but we sure as hell ain't giving up!!! |

I would move to Oregon if it was me. The fight isn't up yet, there is still a chance the thing can be squashed I'm told, but the odds aren't as good. Now is the time to put all your chips (resources in) and go into overdrive.

Yes, I have many friends and acquaintances who have moved to Oregon. I'm in Illinois. I'm just glad I don't live in Alabama or Arkansas for that matter!

The thing that separates us from other Kratom Forums is that we're not going to turn away members or vendors due to special interests as they do at the other popular forums. Although our main focus here is to build a Kratom Community with up to date and accurate industry information, we do allow vendor reviews and marketing in the appropriate locations. This is a place to share ideas, information and to advocate for this amazing leaf. We welcome newcomers to join and start learning today.
