I just read this article this minute: www.cnn.com/2016/06/10/health/kratom-opi...upplement/index.html

At least it's partly factual- but I've never heard of anyone having hallucinations or delusions using solely kratom.

Lots of Kratom related stuff in the news! The Columbia University just released a study and this article was written about it as well:

It is an unfortunate fact that more dubious vendors will lace kratom with unlisted research chemicals to modify it's natural state. That's why we are lucky to have sites like ILK to help legitimize the industry. Vendors who mix chemicals in with the natural leaf give kratom undeservedly bad rep.

Thank you for the article link!

At first I thought it would be a Scary Kratom article, but I finished it and it seemed pretty neutral. It mentioned the positive uses of Kratom and only mentioned that one part about delusions and such from an over-30 year old study at the very end. I just wish it hadn't mentioned that 'mitraynga (sorry spelling) is 'stronger than morphine' thing in the very beginning. Even if chemically it is true, it just sounds bad. (Or good, I guess from your point of view or needs). The one thing is that it mentions Kratom is sold 'as a supplement'. But it's not right, it's sold as... Not for human consumption. It doesn't help that there are images of actual capsules!! (You can't rub a capsule on your skin)...

Thanks again

Those are some very astute observations, Cori177.

Yes, this is correct, I am seeing probably about 5-7 stories like this each week and many of them are published on big time news websites & outlets. The pot is stirring and is about to boil over!
