I hope you're right, Laurie! We see signs that the CDC is giving the signal that kratom is a big public health threat, based on the fools who abuse it and turn up in the ER or calling Poison Control Centers about their nausea. Duh! Don't they read the blog posts and do a little self-educating before dosing up with 30 grams like some recent misleading article suggested?

Utah, North Dakota, and Texas seem to be new battlegrounds, plus having to re-fight states we prevented from bans last season -- and now cities, like San Diego passing ordinances that ban Spice, Bath Salts, and kratom (disguised as its mitragynine and 7-hydroxymitragynine alkaloids)!

We need some of those millionaire political donors to support the American Kratom Association's important work! Our big fundraiser is about to begin. Those who want to keep this herb in their life need to step up and support the AKA. If anyone here patronizes smokeshops, please give them the message: Support the AKA if you want this windfall revenue to continue! Kratom is not "just another product."
