Another way to approach the problem of pet arthritis is a product called Arthrydex, made by Youngevity.com, a company started by a veterinarian with 50+ years experience in animal and human research and care.

My cat seems to like the flavor of the powder and it mixes well with canned food juices.

I have used Youngevity's products for humans with back and joint damage and have received amazing results. Keep in mind that kratom is mostly a pain and inflammation reliever -- to rebuild bone, joint cartilage, and tendons, glucosamine and chondroitin are needed with vitamins and other co-factors, which are contained in Arthrydex.

I also use Youngevity products for some nutrients! The Tangy Tangerine 2.0 is helpful. I use it to take my mid morning dose if I have coffee first. Morning dose if coffee is not necessary.

Great reminder about the product line for pets!

Thank you guys!!!

Last night the pooch was just miserable... so I rubbed approximately 1/4 tsp on his gum lines... some powder made it some did not .... more like 1/8 tsp.... so later I added a 1/4 tsp to his dinner which he wolfed it down happily ... I used a red from RE-LEAF.... he was so calm and content for the rest of the night !!!! It was miraculous..!!! So .... kratom as far as I can tell really helps .... eases the worries mind and soothes the pain .... even for Fido !!!

I’ll give home some more later .....

Thx for all the good tips :)

Really was so relieving to see him feel better in his body !!

You are very welcome Don!!!

He’s feeling a lot better, I gave him 3-4 doses all together... I think he’s feeling better , limping way less, it’s been hard keeping him from running and aggravating his injury , but I know if he’s needing some calming pain relief I can help him out

I think reds might be the way to go .... but maybe greens in the day for energy factor and moodlift .... dogs dig that too...I don’t think whites are a good idea .... just probably riles them up with anxiety...

Hope your evening is awesome!!! For all of you (L)

www.cuteness.com/article/much-boswellia-should-dog-take

I bought a 250 gram bag of Boswellia powder, Bulk Supplements, from Amazon and I can testify that it has basically no taste, maybe slightly, inoffensively, chalky, and it should mix well with any dog chow. It won't dissolve in water though.

Even for people the doses needed are small.

P.S. Off topic but some people give their dogs chlorella to help with having to take lots of medication. It tastes a little bit salty, a little bit like cheese, and a dog will lick it off your finger. I gave some to a friend to give to her dog, and he liked it.

Very little is needed with that as well.

Boswellia is frankincense, and we know that's fit for a king. ;)

It's more for the pain from inflammation. So I don't imagine it would do as much for a headache as it would for a back aching from doing stoop labor. I was intrigued by its supposed low level of side effects, compared to other things people take for pain.

Like many other natural, unrefined, substances, it might have other possible benefits.

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Boswellic_acid

P.S. The powder offers good bang for the buck vs. pills, but it's a powdered resin, and swallowing it is a bit of a knack, and if you can imagine swallowing talcum powder without coughing you get an idea of what I mean. Lol, but anyone who's take Kratom should have no problem. But unlike Kratom you want to hold the Boswellia "tightly" in your mouth and not swish it around. Treat the powder like you're compressing it into a pill in your mouth, and then just shoot it down with water. It's totally inoffensive, no heartburn or anything, it's just very powdery, and it doesn't dissolve in water. But it blends well.

I have a spinal degenerative thing going on, lots of inflammation, so this sounds like a logical step to take ... Bulk Supplements??? I ordered the agmatine through your recommendation... I think I’ll order this boswellia very soon,

Thank bro
