Hello all! Sort of off topic, but sort of on topic:

I'm getting my ducks in a row to start selling kratom online, and I want to get a business checking account and business credit card for my LLC.

My question: Any reason I can't go to Wells Fargo (where I have an unrelated business account) or Bank ofAmerica or any other "mainstream" bank? Are they going to be spooked if they find out the soap-making ingredients I'm selling are kratom?

I am sort of in the same boat as you. I just found out that PayPal will no longer accept kratom transactions. I used to run an herbal incense company, and I used PayPal for everything. Please, let me know if you do find this out.

There is a woman I know who has found some options for both small and large vendors. Her name is Wendi Rook -- you can find her on Facebook. Tell her I sent you.

Welcome to ILK Catbird44,

To answer your question, yes the big, "Mainstream" banks will get spooked because they are not allowed to handle "High Risk" transactions. Your best bet is to find a CC processor that's completely open and ok with you processing Kratom transactions. I would follow Paul's lead if I were you :-bd
