After being a newbie of kratom and all it's wonderful affects (I take it for depression, increased energy, positive mood, anxiety relief) I'm now very curious about any other things out there that could also help as it's made me very curious. Just wondering if anyone has tried Kava, Kanna, or any of the nootropics and how it compares to Kratom for the general uplifting of mood? I doubt any can top Kratom overall in terms of the positives etc but was just curious. There's a cafe near me in Huntington Beach Ca that specializes in kava drinks so I'll check that out and may order some kanna and nootropics since you can actually do so on amazon.

I’d love to try a kava bar! I’m also a kanna user for its complementary help with kratom for my depression (pretty bad case if left to it’s own devices <—my brain).
With kava, the effects take repeated use over 3 days, from what I understand.
I’d love to try a bar! Please report back!

I have tried about 2 dozen different Herbs & Botanicals in search of a Kratom Alternative but still have come across anything near as good as K yet. Kava, Passion Flower, Incarvillea Sinensis, Phellodendron Bark are the Best ones that I've tried so far. Finding a High Quality Vendor can make all the Difference in the World when trying Herbs. Freshness & Quality are a must with Herbs. I have tried a few Nootropics but was disappointed in them.

Other ones to look at are Ashwagandha, Mulungu, Magnolia Bark, Bacopa, Blue Lotus, Damiana, Ginseng. Finding a Blend with a bunch of different Herbs would be the Best Alternative to Kratom. I have been trying to make a mix of Herbs to Duplicate some of the Effects of Kratom but wasn't Successful. I can't take Kanna because it would interact with the Medicine that I am taking.

Your not going to find anything as good as Kratom in terms of mood lifting. Kratom is the Best in Terms of that. I would suggest trying to blend several different Herbs to come up with a Blend that lifts your mood even though it won't be as good as K. I am taking Passion Flower & Kava at the moment & they work very good together along with K.

I tried Kava from an approved ILK vendor who sells other botanicals besides kratom. I didn’t know that you had to use kava repeatedly for it to work. Does that mean taking several times a day for 3 days? I just thought it didn’t work for me. If Kanna helps with your depression at all, I need to try it. Can you tell me who you Buy it from. If you prefer you can PM me.

Has anyone found that turmeric really helps potentiate kratom? None of the vendors I’ve been currently dealing with sell it. So any recommendations of where to get turmeric and quality kratom. Even better if CCs are accepted.

PM also doesn’t work on the website. It’s low on the priority list until this “war” is over.

Yes, kava needs to be repeated once only per day for 3 days before benefits are noticeably helpful. I never buy enough to last much longer than that!

It’s been shown to cause liver problems in those with weaker organs, so repeated use is not exactly ideal. Therefore, I bagged the idea. But I DID get it to work right a couple of times and really enjoyed the benefits. It DOES work well with repeated (evening, ideally) use.

I got some kava from PDO (90%) but only 10grams. I wasn’t aware that PM didn’t work anymore. I haven’t checked mine. I need to look into kanna more. Also interested in Phenibut and Blue lotus. Idk what form of Blue Lotus is best. I’ve read that Phenibut can become habit-forming. I know that PDO doesn’t sell either of those. I did buy Valerian root from him and Corydalis.

His Corydalis is wonderful when I need pain relief AND SLEEP.

Loved his kava, but that’s where I got too tiny an order and ran out just as the effects were enjoyed. I’d get it there again.

I will get corydalis from him in the future. I stretch mine to LLLLAAAAASSSSTTTT

Kanna is a natural SSRI/SNRI. Don’t mix it with any antidepressants you use.

Blue Lotus might be like kava. The small amount I have is not enough to repeatedly try.

I have tried phenibut and didn’t like it AT ALL for ME. No idea why people would use it more than once for curiosity. It’s definitely known as dangerously habit forming. I am certainly not going to test fate when it’s not helpful for my needs IN THE FIRST PLACE.

Definitely others should post on these. My experience is only that.

Thanks!! Now I remember why I couldn’t take kanna. I’m on Wellbutrin which Works on dopamine and norepinephrine. There are so many herbs I’d like to try. Sometimes when I research them I get very overwhelmed because I’ll find conflicting information. That’s why I’m asking for Advice or Knowledge about the ones I mentioned. Also a Great Place to buy a variety of botanicals.

We don't sell turmeric but one of the employees is seasoned kratom user and uses it to make his dose stronger. We do sell quality product, offer pick or shipping options and accept CC if you are looking for a kratom vendor. onlinekratom.com or 714-494-9534
