Any personal stories of using Kava for sleep and opiate/kratom withdrawals? What dosing do you use? Any good OTC brands that I don't have to order online? My order of Kratom won't be here until Monday.

I know they have kava tea at Walmart. It's yogi brand tea. It's in a purple and yellow box. Other than that I don't know where to buy any kava where I live.

I'm a Kratom newbie but I know about Kava! I've taken it in tincture form for a couple of years now. The brand I use is HerbPharm I buy it at my local organic shop. Passion Flower tincture, Valerian Root, and Skullcap are also all sedative type herbs that target the nervous system.
The dosage recommendation on my bottle is a dropper full two-5 times a day. You'll want to chase it with something, it has a strong taste.

I've taken more than the recommended dose and never experienced any problems.

To be very honest I don't know that it will give you as much relief as Immodium(an OTC opiate) and Advil PM. All my herbs and potions didn't do a whole lot during those first days of WDs.

Hope this helps!
