I've been reading about this ever since bomally mentioned it in another post and I'm planning to order some soon, but I have a couple of questions.

I know this needs to be taken on an empty stomach which isn't too much of a problem, but I'm wondering if I can take it at or around the same time that I take kratom, or would that basically be the same as taking it with food? My understanding is that it will digest whatever is in the stomach before it goes about doing good things in the rest of the body. I guess what I'm asking is will taking the two too close together negate the effects of either or both?

Also, in determining a dosage for the Serrapeptase should I expect to feel an immediate relief from this like an aspirin or is it something that I will notice over a longer period of time?

Serrapaptase is an enzyme and will digest whatever plant matter it comes in contact with. Taking it with ANY food (Kratom is plant material) will cause it to digest the food, hence you will not get the raw enzyme absorbed into the blood stream.

In order to work on the organic matter in your body (like scar tissue) you have to get it absorbed into the blood stream. This means that you have to take it on an empty stomach and allow it to be absorbed directly into the blood stream from the stomach. This will take about 30 - 45 minutes.

You also have to take enough for it to have an effective action. This requires some experimentation but I took 1,000,000 units per day.

I works over the long term not immediately, however, I did find some relief within a few days but I think that is unusual. I think it was an anti-inflammatory effect.

I took it for over 2 years specifically for issues with scar tissue. To get around the "not with food" issue I used high potency capsules (250,000 units) and kept them at the beside. I took them before bed and then again in the night when I got up (and I ALWAYS get up at least once). That way I did not have to organize how to take them during the day.

It is another one of those supplements that requires experimentation.

I am not sure WHY you are taking it but for me it helped with getting rid of scar tissue BUT I was also doing other things for that like massage, Graston therapy, gentle stretching etc.

When it comes to scar tissue , I need all the help I can get! My thorax was like cement! It is better now but I am still working on it getting it moving.

I think a lot of people who do not have succes with Serrapeptase either do not take enough, or do not take it properly.

I hope this info helps.

Good luck with it!

Well, honestly I began researching it when you said that you had used it yourself in a previous response. After reading some reviews I feel that it's something I want to try.

Surgery and two broken bones might benefit from cleaning out some scar tissue, I've also read that it helps a bit with allergies. That would be a huge benefit for me, but remains to be seen.

Thank you for your coaching
