TOPIC: Need an education, please

Need an education, please 1 year 7 months ago #8573

Hi Gang,

Just heard about Kratom. Here's the deal and how I need help.

I've had chronic pain (migraines, too) in and around the neck/head/shoulder areas. Used oxycodone for decades - off and on. Oxy was the ONLY thing that worked. Plus, I gotta admit, I loved it; until, of course, I always had to take more & more (same old story).

Now, I don't take Oxy anymore, and I'd like to try Kratom but need to know:

  1. What kind is best kind for my type of pain?
  2. Where are the good online dealers (in U.S.) w/fair prices? (don't have much $)
  3. I also have to deal w/anxiety, so I don't want to be "up" but I'm a working chick, so it can't make me drowsy. Also, feeling the oxy buzz was when I felt "normal." Relieves the anxiety/depression torture. Pathetic, but true.

Anything you guys can do to help and lead me in the right direction would be fantastic.

Many thanks.

Hello... Red strains are really good for pain issues and relaxation, Green strains will give you some energy and maybe some relaxation with it. Red malay is really good. My favorite vendors so far have been pharmacy dropout, and PA Botanicals, there are others that are cheaper as well, like So Cal Herbal Remedies,(you have to type "speciosa" in the search bar) (thanks Jimmy Joe).. so cal would be cheapest out of those three. There is a very high quality vendor in Canada called Divine Shaman, which prices range from $135 a kilo to a little over $200.. Their Jumbo red Malay and Red Senang Indo is really good in my opinion, it gives you a bit of energy as well. Yellow Sehari is a good mix of relaxation and energy, that's from Divine as well. You will most likely have to try a few for yourself to see how they effect you, as all people are different and same strains can effect people differently. Good luck in your quest. I forgot to mention Bentuangie.. It is very excellent, every vendor that I've tried it from is high quality, highly recommended.

Hello Chronic pain chick, I can relate to your problem, I have chronic neck and back pain combined with depression and anxiety.....lovely combination :) I Agree with Jason, it's kind of different for everyone and you have to find what works for you, he's given you a pretty good run down of the strains to try. I find the Reds work best for me, especially for depression/anxiety and physical pain. You can also mix the red with a green Malay for daytime when at work so as not to be drowsy. But basically I'd say get some samples and try them out, that way you get to know what works for you personally. Welcome to the forum and good luck.
Brian
Btw I live in Canada so I deal with a Canadian vendor the one mentioned by Jason(Divine Shaman) is excellent, also the US ones on this forum I believe are all top notch.

Thanks Jason (and thank you, too, Brian),

Your answers were great and really helped me sort through the maze.

Brian, I don't want to sound callous, but I'm so glad there's someone else out there w/my same problems! Sometimes I feel like such an alien.

Here's a question for you, Brian and Jason: Which online pharmacy does NOT have you sign for the package. I hate that! Also, any deals online?

THANK YOU.

Irene.

Hi Irene, lol you don't sound callous, it's good to know you're not alone in your struggle. It's actually amazing how many people suffer from depression and anxiety. Unfortunately, it's usually not talked about, I know I hid it because I felt embarrassed, how do you explain something you can't see :) I also get panic attacks and these are a special kind of treat lol. It's difficult to explain to someone who's never experienced them, they really can't understand. They do make life somewhat challenging, example you'll turn down invitations to social functions because you're afraid you'll have an anxiety attack, then friends assume you're anti-social :) .....the possibilities are endless. So I do understand what you're going through and how difficult it can be. Depression and anxiety usually go together and also can exacerbate physical pain. Also the medication merry- go-round is another nightmare, I've tried numerous antidepressants, some work for awhile, but as with any pharmaceutical they start to lose potency after awhile, also true of opiate pain meds.
As to your question re-signing for packages. Maybe Jason would be better to answer. I'm in Canada and I've never been required to sign for my deliveries.
Online deals, if you check the forum there's usually one of the Vendors having a sale or discount and these vendors are all approved by the ILK forum.
Anyway take care and again welcome to ILK.
Brian

I only had to sign for a package when I ordered some from Indonesia along time ago. I get my mail in a post office and never have to sign for it, The 4 I mentioned I haven't had to sign for any of them. I've ordered the most from Pharmacy-Dropout and have never signed for any package, it's always just in my post office box ready for me to pick up. I don't like signing for anything either, I just like to pick it up and go without talking to the post lady.

Jason,

Thank you! I needed to know because once I bought something from pakistan that was "waiting" for me at the post office. Luckily, circumstances were such that I never picked it up. It was a package of percocets - yikes!

The DEA was waiting for me to come and get the package! Got a letter in the mail. If I had picked it up, I would've lost everything. They take your car, etc. Of course, I was younger then...sigh...well, lesson learned.

I live in a state where kratom is still (for now) legal, but I still get paranoid.

You've been a great help to me. Thanks for being kind and helping me out. I really appreciate it.

Irene.

Brian,

You're not anti-social, you're only an introvert. People suck up our energy, and we need alone time to regenerate! At least, that's what I've been reading lately.

There's some introvert sites on facebook. Check them out, if you like. I know it's helped me understand that I am NOT ALONE.

See, you're normal, everyone else is messed up - right? Or else, we're aliens dropped on this planet for some strange reason. Again, thanks for your help. Much appreciated.

Take care,

Irene.

Hi Irene, Just wanted to comment on your post. I am now a senior citizen that has raised my family, still married, and a grandma and I have discovered at this point of my life that I am an introvert. I have always felt "different" than my mom friends when my children were young, had a hard time with many things my children needed me to get involved with. I did it and the only time I felt normal was when I needed a pain killer for something like a toothache or back pain. Now that I have found kratom it has really helped me. Pharmacy Dropout, Online Kratom and MuSynergetics are all great vendors and have great customer service and products.
