Hello all!

I'm pretty sure I've never posted here--I joined a forum about two years ago, and it was a really lovely, welcoming forum, but I wandered away from posting and can't find any data on which forum it actually was. :)

Anyway, I discovered kratom about three years ago. I have suffered from chronic pain ever since I had a thoracotomy in 2006 and then a major abdominal surgery in 2008 (all on the left side--I have some truly spectacular scars). I was initially taking MS Contin and Percocet, but my tolerance just kept going up and up and I realized that I would never get real relief from the opiates and my tolerance was starting to scare me, so I started researching alternate therapies--medicinal and others (massage, yoga, heat, etc.) Marijuana was suggested, but honestly, it doesn't do much for my pain and no matter what sort I try, it just makes me SLEEPY. And then I started reading about kratom and most of my reading came from the site "Bluelight" an invaluable source (at the time)--mostly for things NOT to try, but also many anecdotal stories about kratom easing pain. So, I gave it a shot. And it WORKED. And now I take it regularly and I can function pretty much normally.

As far as I know, there is no danger of kratom being made illegal in my state (Oregon). I guess I'm here now to be a cheerleader for kratom and gain more education and possibly help any newbies who might need support from someone who is not new to kratom, but still a newbie to this forum.

Hey Queen.
Nice to see you joined us here. I'm right next door here in Washington. And yes Kratom is the best no matter what the lying media and government want to say about it. The government just wants to shut it down in my opinion because they are starting to see that it will soon take money away from big pharma companies because so many people that use Kratom don't need the prescription pain killers anymore. And as much as I don't want to say it or even think it, I've started a small stockpile of my Kratom, because I feel the hammer coming down a little harder ever since the start of the year. Me and you being in Oregon and Washington should be ok for now but I just don't know, it just seems like right now the east coast and down south are slowly getting shut down, but I hope I'm wrong. But welcome to are Kratom home and were happy your here. Got any questions feel free to ask.
Take care.

I'm less than 90 miles away from you, and I've been networking with a grower of the trees in Portland lately. Portland is beautiful, I'm so lucky to live in this area. I'm in the Corvallis/Albany/Philomath area myself.

I think a large plus for you and I, is that the co-founder of the American Kratom Assocation lives near us, Paul Kemp, who will fight tooth and nail to keep it real and legal for us here in Oregon.
I own and operate www.pharmacy-dropout.com We have the United States leading supply of bulk and retail Thunder God Vine. We also have Kratom, and other exotic botanicals. All of our Products are sold with no intent on use, and are not sold for consumption.
