HI. There are many-a-friendly people on here and all are very kind and helpful. I'm sure you will find what you are looking for eventually. Many strains give you energy and pain reduction, just buy some samples of a few that look good and go from there.

I purchased the 16 sample pack and super green. I am leary to try some of the samples. I take Vicodin on a regular basis for back and hip pain and am not sure how the samples will react. I am ready for a change as the Vicodin script has not been as effective. I also purchased the herbal samples and am clueless. I had found a great chart of each sample in a spreadsheet format but cannot locate. It had fabulous info. I may have to check to see if I had saved it on some media. If anyone has similar please share. Thank you for assisting and future talks.

It may take some time to transition from the Vicodin to the Kratom. You may want to just try kratom by itself, first with a 4 or 5 gram dose to see what happens. I know when I was transitioning from Suboxone to Kratom, it took a while for me to be comfortable just using kratom, but once that took hold it was all kratom all the time, and it's worked wonderfully. I remember sometimes I would take like a 10 to 12 gram dose because it would take withdrawls away better. I don't do that anymore though, I usually stick to 5 to 7 grams depending on the quality of the powder I have. I have back pain from working on the farm for 14 years and this leaf makes it bearable to do work every day and calm down in the evening and relax.

Hello and welcome skmo53. I suffer from sciatica and red strains work better for pain than greens or or whites.

Glad to have you skimo53. For Energy you can't beat Vietnam. For Pain I would say Bentuangie. I would experiment first because everybody responds differently to different Kratom Strains. Vary the Dosages & make different Combos to find what works for you. Also always take on an empty stomach.
If anybody has any Questions about Kratom please private message me & I will be glad to answer as soon as I can.

Welcome to the forum Skimo53,

To give you the extremely basic rundown, you'll want to stick with the white and green strains for energy and the reds for pain relief and relaxation. Whites and greens can provide pain relief, but reds are "heavier" strains in my opinion so they'll do a better job. Mixing the colors seems to provide a lot of benefit as well, such as white and red for pain relief, so I'd give that a try as well!

As you see, you'll get a lot of responses from the members here, so post away! You can always come to me for any questions with the site and it's functionality as well.

Cheers,
