New here, just made an account, hello people. Recently (in october) i was sent to hospital due to alcoholism after my mum found me unconscious with blood coming out of my mouth, i dont remember a thing apart from bits of dreams and waking up in hospital and thinking i had been kidnapped and was being used as a test subject in the middle of nowere (i had sepsis, acute kidney damage, liver damage, alcohol withdrawels, chest infection, stomache ulcer and pottasium was at about 1.6). After being in hospital for a few days my mental state managed to go back to normal after being on god knows how many drips, was still sort of confused over what had happend though because it was the most terrifying thing i've ever been through, still get sort of worried and wonder how my alcohol problem got so bad and why i let it, anyway, after i got out of hospital, they wouldnt give me ANYTHING for anxiety, i turned to kratom which helped me get threw the days of adjusting to having no alcohol and now i haven't had a drink since some time before i went to hospital, sorry to sound like a bit of a panzy but i cant describe how bad it was, i also understand that some people might think that im the type of person who was after a cheap high because i couldnt have my usual drug of choice, but the case was i needed anxiety relief and some hope since i felt like id completely destroyed everything i had... anyway, ill stop rambling and nice to meet you all. :-P

omg, Mark, can't believe what you've gone through! Glad to hear that you are recovering. Maybe kratom can help in your recovery process. It's helped a bunch of people on this board.

Welcome.

Ahh thank you for the replies everyone, didn't expect everyone to be so friendly, you'll be glad to know that i'm doing well, still some anxiety occasionally but nothin i can't handle, I'd actually never of been able to use kratom without going threw what i did, long story but it involved not having a bank account and having to explain and get my mum to read about it and see what she sais so i could use her bank account, when she acknowledged that kratom is actually safe and id stopped drinking and got out of hospital, she let me use her card.............. before anyone ask's i'm 23, i just live with my mum, and am a manchild (and my english is bad for an english man.....child) lol

Don't feel bad MarkJ92 I'm 31 & I still live with my Parents. I know being an Alcoholic is extremely difficult. I went to outpatient rehab with plenty of Alcoholics & heard all there story's. You just have to take one minute, one hour & one day at a time & not think about tomorrow just about right now & staying sober. Kratom has saved my life. I would not be here without the Help Of Kratom.

I just hope they don't ban it in all 50 States. That would really suck. :pinch: We know your not looking for a cheap high like all those stupid kids out there. Kids is what's going to get Kratom banned. They think Kratom will get you high like a narcotic but it will not. Kratom is NOT A LEGAL HIGH! Kratom is a MEDINCINAL HERB that has many Benefits that far outweigh the side effects. Keep on keeping on Mark. Hang in there.

Welcome MarkJ92. That sounds like a serious alcohol blackout you had. Prolonged alcohol use definitely tears your body up. I'm glad to see your done with that. Stick with the Kratom and don't look back, and 23 is not that old for living with Mom. Trust me, live for free, and take as many home cooked meals as possible, and if you can get laundry washed(Even better), for as long as you can. Rent sucks.
