Hi,guys. I'm a newbie here and a newbie to kratom in general. I have been dealing with chronic pain in my lower back and hip for about 10 years. I don't like the thought of getting on prescribed opiate pain meds because of tolerance for the meds goes up over time. So i started researching Kratom. There are so many different types that help with different pains, anxiey, lack of energy, and opiate withdrawal. I would rather try Kratom than keep my appointment with the pain management doctor.Do y'all have any advice as to what type would be good to start with? The people that work at the shop that sells kratom here cannot give advice on the subject. Hopefully y'all can. I'm desperate to get some kind of quality of life back. Thank you in advance!

Welcome PBJtime, Glad to have you here. I would stay away from any head shops. I would start by buying a sample pack from a Reliable vendor like from one of the Approved Vendors here. Then you can experiment & see what works best for you. Everybody responds differently to Kratom. So you will have to experiment with the Strains, Doses & Combinations to see what helps you. Ensobotanicals.com has a bunch of good info on Kratom. If you have any Questions just PM me. Good Luck.
If anybody has any Questions about Kratom please private message me & I will be glad to answer as soon as I can.

Hello, and welcome to the start of a new life and this site! It's done wonders for me, going on 2 weeks clean from the fentanyl patch, and about a week now from my morphine break through meds! I learned a lot from this forum and the nice people here who have guided me through my weening of my meds. And like you, I am going to cancel my appointment with my PM doctor this week. My appt, is for Wednesday, and I'll be happy to report that Monday I'll be calling to cancel the appt. I'm totally satisfied with kratom and am in the process of trying different vendors myself. I found that the green strains have helped me best, with a red strain to sleep at night! I'm not at the point where I can give advice, but can tell you what's worked for me so far, there are members here with lot's of knowledge who helped guide me, as I'm sure they'll do for you! Good Luck, and hope to hear from you again, and how your progressing!
God Bless, Have a Great Day! Jami

I am 41 and was hit by a car at 8.
I went through many surgeries and various painkillers.
I have been pharma free for 10 years and thank God for kratom.
Red for bed
White for flight(energy)
Green for in between
I use reds in gerneral for management.
Borneo or indo works good for me.
Everyone is different so experimentation is key.
Good luck and feel free to reach out.
We always provide top quality organic kratom at reasonable prices.
God bless and have a great day.

Hello PBJtime, nice to have you on board the kratom train. When I first started transitioning from suboxone to kratom I was using a lot of Bali, it seemed to really help me a lot, but there seemed to be only a few strains to choose from, but now there is very many good strains to choose from. I was using around 10 grams for withdrawal symptoms. One strain you might want to try is Superior Bentuangie from PaBotanicals.com . I tried it a long time ago and found it to be very strong. I recently bought 8 ounces and it is still very high quality. It is premium red vein leaves, but I can take some in the day time and not get sleepy, it really takes away pain well. My back was all effed up this morning and it totally took the pain away. I only need about 5 to 6 grams. Whites do generally give you energy but sometimes can bring on anxiety for some people. Same with some greens. But try them out to see for yourself what you like. There are literally infinate possibilities with kratom. Try to stick with plain leaf though, extracts tend to be way over priced for what they do, and your tolerance will get out of wack to where plain leaf won't do the job anymore. Good luck on your journey, kratom is the key to a healthy pain free lifestyle.

Oh, you'll be pleasantly surprised as someone so eloquently said above! I would recommend going with a good Red Vein, from a trusted source, which I know everyone here can vouch for one. My personal favorite is Mu Synergetics (www.musynergetics.com/) -- these guys have wonderful product, and it's very well priced. I personally burn Green Veins and Red Veins, I haven't tried a lot of whites, but for some reason, I always think "red is the best", but it's not necessarily true. It's a beautiful thing, this plant, and you'll wonder why you never knew about it before.

Welcome to ILK! I also cancelled my pain management appt. about a month ago and haven't looked back. I was in full blown withdrawal when I got my first order of Kratom from Pharmacy Dropout, and 15 minutes after my first 5 grams it all went away. I recommend they're red horn Malaysian, and red spiked indo for evening/night time. SoCal herbal remedies is another vendor I've used- they're Elephant, green hulu kapuas, and green maeng da have been excellent for daytime...lots of energy/mood lift, and ZERO withdrawal symptoms. Good luck! You've come to the right place for advice!
