Okay, in my journey today I took a chance on Super Kali (the one that made me very sick when I took 3g). I only took .5g along with 1.5g of Green Malay. An hour later I got slightly lightheaded which is where I am now. I dislike this feeling because to me it's a precursor to major dizziness and maybe nausea and vomiting. I've been lightheaded for ten minutes. I am wondering if most everyone gets lightheaded after taking Kratom. If so, does it leave after a short while if you're not on too high a dose? Maybe I just can't take the Super Green Kali. Good thing I only took .5g. This makes me really leery of taking a white strain even though I would like to have that kind of energy at least once a week to get things done.

I am so glad for this forum. It really helps to be walked through this in the beginning.

If you are new to Kratom I would hold off on mixing strains until you know what each one does for you.

If I take a stronger strain or from a different vendor I might feel light headed or "heady" and it tends to wear off in under an hour. Except for some whites the heady feeling might not go away.

Sometimes taking kratom in the morning on an empty stomach will make me feel nauseous and I need to lower the morning dose. But it usually wears off. I need to drink more water and then get something small to eat.

Also are you drinking enough water? Kratom is dehydrating most negative side effects can be from not drinking enough water.

Hope you are feeling better.

Hi: I took my first dose days back on an empty stomach and got light headed so I don't do that anymore. The only reason I mixed it was because I don't notice anything on Green Malay and Super Green Kali made me sick at a low dose. So I though I would give some oomph to the Malay with .5g of Kali. All I got out of it was lightheadedness for about 20 minutes. So, yes I feel better, thanks. I certainly never got any energy which is what I am after. I do try to drink plenty because one time I felt kidney pain on both sides. I drank more and the pain left in about 30 minutes. So, I know about the dehydration. Thanks for your help.

Green Malay has always been an eh strain for me too.

If I have a strain that I feel makes me feel a little heady I put it in the "no fly" pile. I will go back to it later and always lower the dose.

I recently tried Green Riau from GoldLeafBontanicals. It was one of the free samples I requested. Loved the energy it gave off. ( www.ilovekratom.com/forum/introduce-your...r-kilos#.WxRysEiUuUk ) this is the post to see if they are still giving free samples.

I try not to mix whites in greens since greens are energy strains. I had success in putting a little
White in Reds for more energy and pain relieving.

Glad the light headedness passed quickly.

I know I haven't given Kratom a fair chance yet, but I am not impressed with the Green Malay either nor the Gold Bali which did nothing at 2g. But at least I didn't get lightheaded. The Super Green Kali was the only one that had a kick but not in a good way. I think that is a good idea to mix a little white with red to see if I can get what I need. I noticed there was no white available with the recent free samples that were offered by Dakine Kratom. I will have to go find some white (maybe Maeng da which seems to be very popular) and give Kratom another whirl before I say it's just "eh."

Energy!! I just don't have enough of it to get things done like house cleaning. My house isn't in terrible shape but it could use a good cleaning and I just don't have the stamina or motivation to do it.

You could try a Red Thai strain...for me, that One is great for energy, mood, and pain relief. I love a good red Thai or red Thai horn...usually try to keep that one around.
I'm with y'all on Malays...I've yet to try one that tickles my tail feathers lol...same with Hulu strains. Doesn't matter where it's from or the vein colors, those 2 kinds just don't work for me. Everything else seems to be good though.

Hello plantsower.

the link post for the free samples is for Goldleaf. They have whites you can sample. ( www.ilovekratom.com/forum/introduce-your...r-kilos#.WxRysEiUuUk )
There are 3 companies offering samples on the forum. You sampled Dakine, very good.
I also recommend Goldleaf try them.

Hi Nessa:

Now see I would never have thought to try a red for energy. The saying "red for bed" stuck with me and made me think it was too relaxing to help me with any energy. So, now I wonder if I take a red for relaxation and sleep, would I have too much energy to do so?

I do want to try the Red Thai or Red Thai Horn to see if is helps me like ti does you. We will see.
