Are there strains or veins more prone to causing nausea than others?

Good question but I am sure like most things kratom its all subject to opinion.
I find I have to be careful with vendor switching. If the kratom is stronger then a same dose with that new kratom will cause nausea because I need less of it.
Mixes/blends I am prone to nausea and any dosing that is as little as .2 mg more.

. "Wow, I thought I started low. I never thought to start anything as low as .2mg. I don't feel anything at .5 so I probably will let that be my minimum unless I suffer from it. Maybe with maeng da. I know that's supposed to be strong stuff.

This is all part of the experimentation process.

My guess is that it is the more stimulating alkaloids that would cause the nausea, so maybe the whites, then the greens would be most likely?

Well, I know the greens cause nausea because green malay and green kali did to me. I am guessing probably the whites also if too much is taken. I plan to only creep up on every new strain/vein. It's taking me forever to find my sweet spot but I don't want to get sick again.

I’ve only experienced nausea during the honeymoon phase. Which is where you are. As I persisted, I built up a tolerance AND THEN began exploring which strain. The honeymoon phase can be very unnerving to the “virginal” receptor activity in the brain for up to the first 3 wks, tops.
Stick with your low enough dose to avoid nausea. You SHOULD ALSO notice pain reduction? I guess no mood lift with nausea. You’ll get there. My body seems to embrace the leaf. I’m very fortunate. During my honeymoon over dosing was quickly diminished with a 1/4 tab of Dramamine. Generic works fine. There is dry mouth from Dramamine, amongst other side effects :-.o , so read the box and take only 1/4 of a tablet. Add more if needed. Hope this helps someone.
A good meal would be healthier for calming over doing it with your amount. But with nausea, a healthy meal might not be an option. That’s why I mentioned the Dramamine. Not a fan of the stuff. But it helps.

I thought about taking some but didn't know if it would work. Sometimes I have dizzy spells. Not very often but Dramanine almost always helps within an hour. So this info DID help me.

I also drank gingerale which usually helps but with the 3g of Super Green Kali it didn't really help. I did feel better after I drank some colloidal silver though.

Set them aside. You’ll enjoy then later. Sounds like you are adjusting normally and it’s slow going, but you’ll see why it is worth it. Pain relief without mind fog is the long term goal.

I’m so glad something I said was helpful for you! Sweet of you to let me know! Thanks!

Funny, my husband can take 2 grams of green Malay and get just enough energy to get stuff done. Today I gave him 1 gram of green maeng da, and he same home with no energy at all and needed to lie down. I gave him his malay again and expect within an hour he will be fine. That surprised me. I only gave him 1g because it's ultra green md from Dakine and should have meant more energy. Not so. It worked just the opposite or he had no energy because he didn't get his malay. Who knows?
