BACK BY POPULAR DEMAND...
A few months ago we asked some of the Approved Vendors to offer some discounts to our community. A lot of them graciously did. We have been asked to bring those discounts back. The following vendors would like to share the love for this forum with you. I know we all appreciate it.

Hello All,

An old fart here who's feeling like a teen again. Learned about Kratom from Hamilton Morris on Vice and w/ Joe Rogan, but didn't consider it til I wanted off Tramadol. Began w/ Red Bali, Maeng Da Red and Green. Have since ordered some Red Borneo, Gold MD, Purple, Ganesh, Super Green Malay, and Caleb spectrum extract, along w/ some capsules for our son. Plan is to learn the medicine as well as we can for him to help w/ his ADHD, Generalized Anxiety Disorder and the Depression that we can see roll in. He stopped his Adderall in May and, rather than begin it again for school this fall, we hope to concoct some blends for whatever he needs. Peace and thanks.

:-h LaoWhooo to our forum. I’m sure you’ll find useful info here and Great People!! Based on the names of some of the strains you purchased, I can guess the vendor you used. I personally cannot comment on whether that vendor’s products are good. If they don’t work out you can get suggestions from members on here and by checking the approved vendors list.

I have all the mental conditions that your son has. I also suffer from panic attacks, PTSD and Agoraphobia. I also use kratom for pain due to several med. conditions. I have found that the more issues you try to get under control by using kratom as a tool, the harder it is to find what works. I’ve been using kratom daily for almost 2 years. I’m still ironing out the kinks.

What may work best for ADHD might not be best for depression. That’s one example. I like blending different strains/colors. I find that to Be more helpful.

Hopefully I’ll be able to give you more tips on what has helped me in the areas of concern. I’m sure others will chime im too. Anyone new to kratom should start out by ordering sample packs from a few different vendors. Choose a selection of different colors and different regions.

A Very reputable vendor told me that he has heard from many people with ADHD that Green strains don’t work. I don’t get The mood lift or the energy that most people get from Green strains. Greens are often recommended for depression.

I’m prescribed Adderall but I very rarely take it. I have found that Reds give me energy and help with pain and anxiety, as long as I don’t take too
Much. Usually the higher dose you take the more sedating a strain is.

However, if I take too much Red it Does Not Sedate Me but actually makes my anxiety worse and I get shaky. The whites are the most stimulating and I was very leery of using them when I first started kratom. I wanted some physical energy but did not want anxiety or shakiness. I have since found that the White strains help with anxiety, focus and in larger doses sleep plus certain white strains like WMD help with pain and mood lift.

Yellow strains (that started as Whites) They go and through a special drying process are particularly effective for focus. I like Yellow Vietnam, and Yellow Bali the most In that color group.

Idk how much research you have done but a good starting dose is a level measuring teaspoon, that typically equals about 2 to 2.5 g. Feel free to ask any questions that you may have. Kratom has helped me in many areas.

I’ve had the least success with My depression. I’ve suffered from MDD most if my life. I’m a work in progress. I’m take antidepressants, even though I told my doctor they don’t work. I go to therapy. I’m changing my diet and looking at alternative herbal supplements to help
Alleviate My Crippling Depression. I also Finally rid myself of a very toxic person that was in my life. That was very recent so I’m going through quite an Adjustment.

I hope I’ve provided a good place to start. Everyone’s body has different chemistry, therefore, the affects from one person to Another very greatly. I hope the suggestions I gave help your son. Btw I have a son in college and he was prescribed Adderall but refuses to take it anymore. Best wishes

Thanks Gold. Very useful bits there. I was wondering whether the ADHD brain (if there is such) might respond differently w/ Kratom, as they say that it does vs., for example, the non-afflicted heads and amphetamines. My wife and I were discussing the whites so we'll be adding these as well. And was a time a few years back that his anxiety was agoraphobic. You guess right vendor-wise, I'm sure. At the time I was chomping at the bits to kick the crappy Tram so dove in where I figured it was decent enough. Have emailed DG and Re-Leaf to begin registration there and am taking notes on stand-out strains to direct me to other vendors who provide them. Our son did try about 5gr Red Bali...nuthin he said...then 5 gr Red MD and again nuthin. Tho we saw how well he did that day. Biggest part of it for us is his willingness. He's also large and I guess this can be weight-dependent? Really appreciate your helping out.

Sounds like great results! The goal is usually subtle relief. Not a NOTICEABLE “high”. If YOU noticed a difference, that’s a clue you are very close to what you WANT. Subtle improvements are what most of us shoot for. Not DRAMATIC euphoria as propaganda articles state. That’s fiction.

EDIT: I don’t think dose is weight related like medications. This is an herb and not anything like pharmaceuticals. Which is why this natural option should remain legal.

Call your Senators in your state to keep it legal if you’d like to continue trying to help your son with fewer chemicals that CHANGE the person into someone ELSE (as some do).

Hear hear. Tho I was once a long-term toker, I never liked the debilitating aspect. And methinks the pain I was self-medicating for was not only physical. The best part of Kratom for me, even surpassing the analgesic benefit, is the centering and wholeness aspect...these things alone give me more energy and enthusiasm than I've enjoyed in 20 years.

EDIT: Will do. Just read that NJ is considering legislation and am responding.

This is a countrywide attack on our rights. For proper legislative discussion and education about the fight, please read www.americankratom.org , our legal representation on the details of the senseless attack on Kratom. Perhaps. It’s complicated. Thanks for ANY help!

I understand. As a former environmental lawyer and one who also appreciates Aya/Kambo, I'm afraid I also learned in law school that "complexities" often serve as but a red herring, to allow cover to the powers that be their appeal to fear, or appetite for profit, re-rendered simplistically (irony upon irony) in their dumbing-down soundbites of boilerplate cliches. They're usually only right about this--that it's not complicated. It's simple, really, but their private interests/ambitions constitute the complex hidden variables. And more and more jurisdictions are going over to full-time legislatures. We used to have to worry what a judge may have had for breakfast or which legislator was sleeping w/ a certain lobbyist. Don't get me started.B)
