Hi! I have been on the chronic pain reddit recently due to having facet joint arthritis in my lower back. I was recommended kratom many times but I've only just now looked into it this weekend because I ran out of pain pills for the weekend and the withdrawals are killing me.

I was going to place my first order with kratomparadise.com but then I was scared off because someone said they may have additives.

I'm now comparing vendors that are lab-tested and have a good red strain for arthritis pain relief. If you have any suggestions, let me know! I hope this works for my pain :)

Hello and Welcome to the forum. Here we can recommend and rate vendors and there is a forum approved list.
Check out the links below.

I have four main venodrs. My last purchase was from Goldleafbotanicals.

I take kratom to manage spinal arthritis.
My main Reds I prefer and are good to start are
Red Bali
Red Borneo
Red Hulu
Red Sumatra - for me this is also the most sedating strain
I take greens for pain management during the day when I need to work on my feet. I just started recently with the green strains.
Green Borneo
Green hulu
Green Maeng Da
I can also take Red Maeng da during the day but in a lower dose.

Check out posts on how to take kratom and starting doses and buying a scale.

You have been given some good advice for strains to manage pain related to spinal arthritis.
I take Kratom in advance of physical exercise to help manage pain. This has helped immensely in making sure that I maintain and improve my muscle strength and spinal flexibility.

I have attached a rating scale that might help you make some selections to start filling your Kratom cupboard. BUT this is an individual experiment. NOT all people would agree with all of these ratings because there are some individual differences in how Kratom affects each person...but this is a starting point.

I keep this by my Kratom cupboard so that I can select a strain that meets my needs. Some are blank so you can add your own numbers. I am in Canada so the number of strains available to me seems much more limited than in the USA.

Good luck and let us know how we can help.

Welcome to the Forum. Nice to have you here cinna-bunny. I recently made an Order with Herbal-RVA. They have Excellent Quality Kratom with a 4 - Split Kilo for $71.50 Total. I have to buy from the Cheapest Vendors because I am on Budget.

I can Recommend Incarvillea Sinensis for Pain as well. It actually works better for Pain than Kratom for me.

@Nan70 (haha I don't really know how to reply on this forum sorry)

Thank you so much for the suggestions! I saw your comments a lot as I was searching this forum for kratom information :). I was wondering about the green strains since the reds don't seem suitable for working during the day, so that's good to know that they help with pain management. I tried ordering from Gold leaf but experienced checkout issues so I went with another approved vendor. I hope the red bali works! I should get it next week. :)

Ooh, thanks for letting me know about the kilos. If kratom ends up working for me I would definitely look into it cause I'm cheap lol. I will look into Incarvillea Sinensis! It looks like there is not as much information readily available about it versus kratom...

Thank you so much. Honestly the strains are very confusing as a newcomer, since some of the vendors I've seen have literally 50-60 different strains. These charts help a ton. Honestly if kratom helps me to the point where I'm actually able to get out of bed and exercise for more than 10-15 minutes I will be grateful. The pain is unbearable...

If you want to order from Herbal-RVA you need to type speciosa in the search bar to bring up the Kratom selection. You might consider Green Zareena and Green Hulu for day pain relief. And any of their Reds.
Golf leaf I think now they accept e-checks. I ordered by placing my order after 12 eastern time zone and I called and gave my credit card information. Really easy and was delivered in 3 days.

Incarvillea Sinensis ( www.nature.com/articles/srep16107 )
I ordered 56 grams from- kratomeye.com/kratom-shop/kratom-alterna...ensis-chinese-herbs/ they are offering 10% off and I got free sample of green borneo, very nice.
My dose is 500mg.
also available in tincture from ( www.ganeshaherbs.com/SHOP-PRODUCTS.html ) www.ganeshaherbs.com/Incarvillea-Sinensis.html

I am still trying out incarvillea so far it has helped with muscle aches and soreness and deeper aches in the hips and back that I experience form being on my feet too long. Pleased so far.

charlesmoore:

Would you be willing to share your most beneficial homeopathics so far?

I have had good success with Aesculus and Hypericum in the beginning ...but they are for different types of pain AND they do not work for all pain all the time.

Homeopathy is so specific to the emotional state of the user that it is sometimes difficult to get the exact remedy yu need without a good prescriber.

If you use the search feature on this forum for "homeopathy" keyword, you might find some interesting threads as this has come up before.
