Hello,
I'm an RN and advocate for responsible use of this incredible medicine. I totally support the use (not heavy abuse) of Kratom (zero judgement in any way, though if that's the case!). I have seen some incredible benefits and want to be an advocate for keeping Kratom legal, and to reverse rulings against Kratom in certain states. I have seen kratom help profoundly with depression, anxiety, pain, med/drug withdrawal, etc personally. Even though part of my job is giving people drugs from pharmaceutical companies, I despise doing so, as in many cases as there are safer and more effective alternatives such as kratom, CBD, and others. I'm more on the crunchy/granola spectrum, somewhat rare for an RN. I've always been into alternative medicine, herbal, fungal, and diet based medicine. Anyways, I wanted to at least say hello to everyone.

Welcome to the crunchy granola club for RN's! (I am retired)

I have been involved in alternative medicine for over 30 years, mostly as a way to manage my own health problems which seemed to confound medical practitioners.

Over the years I have learned a lot about homeopathy as well as herbs and other physical therapies. I SELDOM consult with my family physician but see other practitioners regularly.
My most recent exploration has been with osteoptathic treatments which have been helping a lot.

I am trying to advocate for Kratom in Canada...all levles of government are busy here getting ready for the legalization of recreational cannabis so Kratom is a bit off their radar (thank goodness).

WELCOME!
