Hi All,

I am hoping that Kratom will bring some Peace back to my life. I have not started yet. I ordered two 1/4 Kilo blends that come highly recommended for pain relief. A little history. I have been on high doses of narcotic pain medications for the last 5 years. Fent patch for extended relief 75 mcc & Oxycodone 10 mg up to 5 a day with 4 mg of Tiznazadine (Zanaflex) 3 x a day. Also 200 mg of Topomax for nerve pain & migraine. I have OA in my spine & neck, almost every level of disc is either gone or bulging, or herniated. I have facet joint arthritis as well and lots of scar tissue from previous surgeries including insertion of a spinal cord stim & removal this year. I am fused or partially fused at C-5-6-7 an L4-5-S1 currently and we might be fusing L3-4 next. I had my left knee replaced last December. I am going to be 51 in November. I need a major change in my life, something has to improve. I am looking forward to getting off the narcotic pain meds. Any advice welcome & needed. Thank you :) JulieAnna

I also recommend a scale for accurate dosing. This is the one I have( goldleafbotanicals.net/product-category/electronic-scales/ ) there are many available on Amazon.
1 teaspoon is usually about 2.2 grams but this can vary by a whole grams depending on the fineness and grind of the powder.
Familiarize yourself with different ways to take Kratom. There is no way I was able to toss dry powder in my mouth and then wash it (the toss and wash method) I just stir it in water, most need orange juice or favorite beverage.
Single Strain Pain relieving go to strains
Red Borneo
Red Bali
Red Maeng Da
Green Borneo
Green Hulu
I take my Kratom with 1-2 grams of turmeric powder.
Sometimes I take Incarvillea Sinensis to manage break through pain between Kratom doses, alternating with Chuchuhuasi Extract Powder. Both these medicinal plants act more like muscle relaxers and better for soreness type of pain.

Kratom has been by far the best botanical that manages my pain, stress, and inflammation.

Thank you for the warm welcome. My Kratom blends came today. I am a chef by trade so I already have a scale. I am not going to start yet. I need to taper back my pain meds & get a solid plan first.
