hey arehee!
my husband got off years of subs with the leaf. first you need to find which/ what kind of strains work for you. reds make me sleepy but he can take em before work. we are all different on our reactions to the leaf. ok yes get down to the nitty gritty. dose a little higher for a newbie. instead of taking a sub on a day off preferably take about 3 grams ( a little bit more than a baking teaspoon ) a green strain might be the best way to start. you can switch to a red later in the day ( maybe 4-6 hrs later ) you will not get 'high' just feel better. the next thing you know you will be taking the leaf more and the subs less cause well you just feel better when you take it. and its so much easier to ween that way. then dropping it for good is easy. it can be done. he went through withdrawls bad even after weening. a few times. this is the only thing that worked. and now he doesn't even have to take it every day. the larger doses routinely will catch up to you. be careful. but it can be done. but your body can get used to taking any substance. I take it for chronic pain but I also work on my feet long hours. I don't usually dose on my day/ days off and my tolerance has crept up. and no health plan covers kratom! but if you order from natures cure after our discount it comes to 72 a key with free shipping or in sense 3 times a year you can get 3 different ounces for 17 just to get things started. feel free to ask. im off to bed nite all

And all the advice Michele gave. ![]() The person who needs help getting off subs, they need to also be interested in doing the research and put in the work, they are lucky to have someone to help them and give them a push in the right direction.
