Usually Most Red Strains are good for Pain but you will have to Experiment because everybody reacts differently to every Strain or Combination.

Red Horn from Pharmacy Dropout is wonderful. I like to mix a little green malay in with it; it prolongs the pain relief for me and gives a little 'spark'.

Hi Laura, I totally agree about their Red Horn. I hadn't been able to buy any of it for many months because when I needed to it was sold out. I just got some on Monday and I'm very happy, it smells super fresh and it's super soft I love it!

Determining which strain I take depends on how active and alert I need to be (and as pretty much everything has said, every body reacts differently):

--Maeng Da mixed with Red Bali for daytime use or a green vein (Green borneo or Green Indo). It's usually a 40/60 mix.

Honestly, most of the strains help with my pain and anxiety and overall fidgeting (I work in an office and the pain in my left side makes it hard to sit still)

My favorite is a Premium Thai that I got from my vendor, but they haven't carried it in months. It was absolutely perfect--a balance of pain relief and mellowing that I just haven't been able to duplicate.

Hope that helps. I guess my best suggestion would be to do a little exploring--see what your body and brain like best. Lots of vendors have samplers. Start out slow--take a small amount of a strain and see what happens.

Most strains or colors work for my pain, most of the time. Biggest thing I found is tolerance. I continually rotate strains for this reason.

I like Red Bali best if you can find it. I've also got to agree about the Pharmacy Dropout Red Horn. I like PD Northern Sumatran Maeng Da from PD even better than the Red Horn, and the just got a fresh batch.

Just about anything will help. I've had my best experiences with Red Thai, however some were a little strong and put me on my butt. I've enjoyed Red Maeng Da, but Green Bali, Green Malay, have always been wonderful and kept my energy in tact. I really enjoyed the Red Horn.. totally wish I had more of that. I prefer to stick to the Red and Greens, I personally did not enjoy some White's I've gotten... but really depends where from, which, and your personal preference of such.

My favorite for pain is also red thai; you don't hear that much. Kwik Kratom's is the best I've tried. I ordered some sumatra maeng da from PDO this morning and also some mystery red; I'm intrigued. I got my jumbo malay from Divine Shaman today and it's really good. I only got 4 ounces and they sent me 6 samples. Sweet!
