Hello everyone! The longer I experiment with kratom the more fun it becomes. I have tried many combinations and I think I have my favorites now, that is for this month lol.
I am a greens guy so I tend to lean to them when pulling out my supplies. I have found that I really enjoy mixing Green Maeng da and Green malay.
Green Maeng da by itself is great, it gives me a great boost of energy and also helps a lot with pain. It is more euphoric to me than green malay. Green malay also provides a great energy boost but it's much more subtle. So mixing the two together has become a favorite of mine.
I think my favorite for night time has become Red Thai and Bali Gold. It took me quite a while to find that perfect mix to help me wind down at night but these two do the trick!

What's your favorite blend? :-?

I made a 5 strain combo that I love. It' equal parts White Thai, White MD, Green Hulu Kapuas, Green Sumatra, and Green Indo. 2 to 3 grams provides an uplifting aroma.

That's awesome gman, the most I have ever mixed was 3 and that was green Vietnam, elephant, and white Agatha. All 3 were from SoCal and was actually very good. Very good energy but not too much brain fog. The fog is ok every now and then but have to take a break from it and go with whites or green malay even.
I will have to start getting a little more creative in my blending looks like lol!

Do you guys who like faster strains get the jitters when the effects wear off? (I'm afraid of white veins}.

I sometimes will feel a little groggy afterwards but can't say I've gotten the jitters. It could be just a particular strain causing it. The reds for me if taken by itself will give me the jitters the whole time lol. Kinda like a nervous energy almost. Not very enjoyable to say the least.
I actually enjoy the whites but some are more subtle than others. I usually just get a clean energy and better mood when using them alone.
Hope that helps some Laura, have a good week!

I haven't tried many green veins other than in a mix with reds. I took maeng da once and never again; it almost blew my head off. I'm going to tiptoe into some greens, though; I think I'm missing out.

There are a lot of mellow greens too.
Green malay especially for me.
Meaeng da is strong in general.

Like C.O.B mentioned there are mellow greens. I like these strains especially late afternoon when I need some energy but don't need to be ovely stimulated. A few strains that would fit this profile would be Green Bali/Borneo, Green Sumatra, and Green Indo

Often if I find that I don't care for a strain by itself, I find when I mix it with another strain, it becomes a great strain. A few examples of strains that I don't care for by itself are White Cambodian, White Hulu Kapuas, and White Thai, but when these are mixed with other greens or red, they produce a great blend.
