Hey everyone, I was thinking the other day how nice it would be to have some new (possibly better tasting) ways to take kratom.
I usually mix first with just a little bit of hot water. This helps disolve it much better than cold. Then add some orange juice and chug it down. O.j. seems to help the most with the taste but can be trying sometimes.
I also want to start trying some crushed leaf and have a tea recipe from Abraxas that I have yet to try. I wanted to see what all of you are doing to combat the taste and see if any of you have some interesting recipes.

Thanks everyone!

No, usually just toss & wash. Fruit juice makes the taste go away quickly, or fresh fruit, or even a hard candy.

I mix it with green tea. After I drink most of my first cup and there is a small amount of warm tea, I add the Kratom. Since the tea is warm, it is easy to mix. Doesn't taste great, but it is quick and fairly painless .

When I use the powder, it's OJ all day! I do exactly what Levonne pointed out in another posted, I'll make a shot out of the Kratom powder and Orange Juice, and have some more orange juice ready to go to wash the rest of it down. It's the only method I've found that makes powder tolerable for me.

I totally agree with you guys, O.J. is by far my favorite mixer thus far. I did see your latte post as well gman. That post and the one Abraxas did is what got the wheels turning and wanting to see what other good ideas are out there. I don't expect to totally mask the kratom taste as it is very strong sometimes. I just think it would be nice to have an alternate method to keep from wearing it out. Keep the ideas coming everyone. Especially any involving crushed leaf.
Thanks!!

No bake fudge, rasin kratom pie.
I made this yesterday and it taste awesome you can use fudge brownie mix

Chocolate fudge mix-1/2 of a 10.5 oz pack

Cup of raisins - prefer organic (optional)

Cup of slivered almonds - again organic (optional)

Also 4 heaping tablespoons of your favorite kratom.

Coconut oil-enough to completely blend dry ingredients. Organic again.

Mix well and place in an 8" aluminum pie plate.

Refrigerate to set and then transfer to freezer.

I have never thought of mixing Kratom in with food. did u find the effects the same as normal?

I'm not picky about my method of taking Kratom, I actually am starting to like the taste so I think I would really enjoy some crushed leaf tea. :)

But mixing it with food is still an awesome idea , I would deffenintly try it :-bd

I asked the guy that posted the recipe on facebook and he said it enhances it. I used stem and vein in the recipe and I am not sure if it enhances it but it doesn't take away form the effects either. This afternoon I think I had too big of a piece because it made me slightly drowsy.
