Hi guys and girls, i am from Germany and i am a heavy Kratom user for serveral years now.
I take kratom strong medicinal doses of 15g 4 times per day and i really need to do a break now (4 weeks) to significantly lower my tolerance. My plan is to stick with much lower doses after my break. Tomorrow i will start with it. I planed this break weeks before and i want you to take part in the process and maybe you can take some informations for your breaks to come. I did this before many times i always take breaks for some weeks to freshen things up and to decide if i want to continue to take after the break or quit totally. To make long things short: To look if the positives still outwheight the negatives.

Here is my list of things which help me to come trough the withdrawal:

My number one is: CES BRAIN TUNER UNIT: SOTA BIO TUNER BT9
The brain builds its own neurotransmitters again after a 20 minute session and after 3 days after using this uni it reaches normal again. Makes the withdrawal so much more bearable believe me. The main problem in withdrawing any substance is that the brain does not produce its own neurotransmitter (endorphins concering kratom) anymore. And it takes too much time till the brain does start to produce them again after quitting, so this unit is KEY! See this video from Bob Beck which is the inventor of this little miracle unit, even works with hard drugs like heroin, or cocaine.

I have more plants/substances to complete your list:

1.Phenibut (lets me sleep kills about 80% of the withdrawal symptoms, anxiety, RLS and more)
2.Scutellaria lateriflora (this is good stuff, relaxing!)
3.Ashwagandha (for sleeping and relaxing + faster adaptation its a adaptogenic)
4.Cannabis (!!)
5.CBD High Cannabis Tea (THC free for tweaking the Cannabis effects into a relaxing state)
6.Damiana (for tweaking the Cannabis effects if needed)
7.Passion Flower (this is good in up to 20g dose, its effects is like Valium heat up and boil in tea or better in milk)
8.Humulus lupulus (relaxing like beer, but without the nasty ethanol)
9.Cortex Salicis albae (non opioid pain killer in plant form for aches and paines)
10.Cats Claw (speeds up the withdrawal, because of NMDA Antagonists)
11.Black Seed Oil (is used in afganistan against heroin withdrawal, very good pick me up and for good sleep, research on it!)
12.Good Japanese Green Tea Kukicha (this is very low in caffeine and HIGH in L-Theanin which is a GABA Modulator, RELAX)
13.Melatonin (up to 10mg before sleep to put you to sleep)
14. Vaporizer for the herbs if fast effects are needed
15. Vitamin B Complex
16. Kanna (Serotonin uptake inhibitor)
17. Coca Leafs (if you can get it illegal in most countries but really helps for energy without the caffein jitters not so harsh)
18. Yerba Maté (GREAT jitterfree caffeine source, best caffein source for withdrawal and for good mood!)
19. Omega 3 Capsules (brain food)
20. Laughing gas (strong NMDA Antagonist and calms me down especially with Cannabis)
21. Vitamin C (see: www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/10836211)
Thats all! :)

What i don't take is ANY substance which binds to the opioid system, would be contra productive.
I will do a little diary here with my concrete dosing schedule of the given plants etc.

Greetings from Germany
Matthias

Now is 15.19pm and i'm basically O.K. i feel a little hypersensitive, but i guess that's just the normal state without the Kratom. I just did the second session with the Braintuner 2x20min. I'm a little anxious, maybe also because i don't know how severe it will be tomorrow morning (when all the withdrawal starts)
I took 1g of Phenibut this morning not 0.5g so maybe that's why i feel almost normal, the Greentea also really calms me down + one Passionflower Tea with 10g. I have a headache and cold and hot rushes. Now i'm sweating in t-shirts one hour ago i was cold with two pullovers. Crazy, but that's how it is. Just like you have a cold or something. Later i report back on how the Cannabis works on the withdrawal. And tomorrow morning after wakeup before the Phenibut dose.

Best of luck to you but I don't agree with the phenibut as using too much too often can lead to addiction. Maybe if use .5 to 1 gram once or twice per week you could be okay. Also laughing gas (Nitrous Oxide)? That could be dangerous if not used properly.

@gmantheman

Thank you! I only use the phenibut for 3 days MAX. I know that Phenibut can lead to addiction.
The laughing gas is good at nighttime. I saw a report from one guy who did a withdrawal from opiates that 4-6 capsules before sleep and he was able to fall and stay asleep all night, so i will try it. I will be very cautious with it though.:-h

Back again,
so its day 8 now. The first 4 days where easy with the phenibut, but on the 5th day on i couldn't sleep very much, even with Melatonin 10mg and many herb teas, magnesium etc. nothing helped, i think it was the rebound from the phenibut, because last time i didn't use the phenibut and i could sleep with these helpers. I'm very weak right now, last night i drank much kava kava and even then couldn't sleep so much and woke up all the time, BUT i made me very chilled out and peaceful, so i will drink it the next days in the evening. I wonder when i will be able to have a decent sleep again. :(

But overall except in the morning its much better now except the deficency in sleep...

Also: After 5 days of continous use of the laughing gas, i got a b12 deficency my hands and feeds startet
to have pins and needles, so i stopped it right away, the phenibut i also do not touch anymore, next time only plants...

Better never use these high doses if you do not really need it for your pain.

Didn`t sleep at all this night, still high anxiety in the morning. Upset stomach (kava ?),
very weak, but psychological im rather o.k. Actually i was fine psychological all the time,
it was physical symptoms, RLS and insomnia which bothers the most. Phenibut ist perfect, but if you use it more than 3 days you will have a great problem. I don't know what to do to get to sleep.
Thinking of getting some sleeping pills, so that i can sleep for 1 or 2 days the refill my energy
which is totally gone. I'm weak and can't do anything. Green Tea, Hot and Cold showers helps for some short times, i even smoked some cannabis along with kava kava every night, still no sleep or very less...
I'm very tense and i just took two Reishi Pills maybe they will help me to adapt faster, Ashagandha also didn't help. The only thing that makes me feel relaxed is Kava Kava, but almost gone... and doesn't help with sleep either, maybe not the best strain for sleep. Anybody any idea what i can do to get some sleep ?
I'm happy that i have no real psychological symptoms the anxiety seems also coming from the tense body feeling not the mind. This is because of the Bio Tuner (Brain Tuner) it's a really great unit for that purpose.

As I'm sure you know the goal is to just get to the end of W/D as painlessly as possible without starting another addiction/habit. I would recommend eating well, drinking plenty of water, and taking vitamins (especially magnesium glycinate). Do this (and this is something you should do all the time anyhow) and then take psychoactives to mask the withdrawal. I would recommend cannabis, alcohol, and GHB. Only use enough so that you feel ok, but this is really up to you. Then I would recommend taking valium to help sleep. Trying to sleep was the worst part for me.
