Hey guys sorry if this topic has been discussed I'm not really good with sites like this so I wouldn't know where to look for it. Anyways I ordered about a ounce of green stem and vein from TKS. I initially bought it to lower my tolerance but I'm not sure whether to take it as it is or add it to plain leaf. If you have experience with stem and vein let me know how it worked for you and how you took it. Thanks!

Hi Rgtc,
I'm guessing TKS is The Kratom Store? I haven't tried theirs, and not one vendor has ANYTHING close to another when it comes to that stuff. I'm a frequent user of it for the alternate alkaloid benefits. I use it by itself AS WELL AS mixed with powder. I measure the amount the same way I do powder. So the TOTAL AMOUNT each time equals the same amount you would burn of powder. Sometimes I mix 1/2 and 1/2 (powder mixed with S&V). Sometimes I use S&V alone. It's a big help for when my body has gotten used to the same batch of strains in powder, so I don't use it nearly as often and AT MOST once a day at some point during the day. Please let us know how you used it and your thoughts on the benefits. Many vendors have told me it's nonsense and they won't carry it (one had a valid point: nobody is likely picking veins out of leaves, so I assume it's all ground up stem). Can't wait for your thoughts!

Holy sheet music! After I typed that comment, I got a package from Precious Mitre on MadMax's recommendation! They carry it for $14 for 125 grams, so I'll be reviewing THIS S&V tomorrow morning! YAY! :D

Will be interested in your review Laurie...I purchased a small amount but really don't notice anything different in effects. If anything the S&V I purchased is less effective for me so I am not really sure of it's value OR whether I will be ordering more.

I was wondering about "picking out the stems and veins" myself. EXACTLY how is that done?

Review delay due to insomnia. Precious Mitre got my order on 8/3 and it arrived on 8/4! They aren't FAR from me, but I'm lucky to get a letter across TOWN that fast.
The stem n vein LOOKS like powder. I've not had a S&V look SO MUCH the same as powder before, but all I care about is the different alkaloids which ARE generally helpful. Since I'm exhausted from lack of sleep, I'm saving it for later or the morning-then I'll report in. They did toss in a couple of oz's of other blends they carry. The price is right, and the website is interesting - in a good way. They carry just a few other products I don't normally see on a leaf website - nootropics AND anti-inflammatory herb powder. One stop shopping. If this powder is good (I tried enough to know it will be a favorable review), I would recommend y'all take a peek at their site AND THE PRICES! Hint: search speciosa or tea

PS: BoMalley, I have no idea how the stem n vein gets labeled as such. It's not practical. Maybe KratomAsia will share what he thinks?! Or others?! Gmantheman? Kaycee777? Madmax? Rob? ANYBODY?

What I've heard it is used to lower tolerance because the alkaloids are different than plain leaf there for it lowers it. I'm trying it out for a couple days and see how it goes
