I am new to this forum, well, been reading for a while, just made my account and will post my experience. I'm on a mission to try all kratom strains. Might take a while, but we have 100 years to live. :-bd

Hello kratom lovers. I recently helped a friend to put up a Ultimate kratom guide. And another article with the substitute for kratom.

The substitute are called:
  • Mitragyna Hirsuta
  • Mitragyna Juvanica
  • White Willow Bark
  • Kanna (Sceletium Tortuosum)
  • Kava Kava
  • Corydalis
  • Rhodiola Rosea
  • Yohimbe
  • Guarana
  • Akuamma Seed Powder

  • Personally, I used KAVA KAVA for insomnia and it works very well. Recently, I've been taking red kratoms to sedate myself into sleep. Works even better :-P

Question for you guys, what kratom do you recommend for someone who want to focus and be productive as a writer?

A good green would work if the user has little or no pain issues.

Hello and welcome,
I would agree With Laurie that greens are good for getting things done. Not too sedating yet doesn't give the caffeine like jitters a white can give. For me Greens give me motivation, with the sense of well being with added focus and a fair amount of pain relief for aches.
I have found green malay to be my favorite of them all but they do vary batch to batch.
I would go for the more mature varieties such as "super" or "elephant". Most commonly that is the term for the bigger more mature leafs.
You could also experiment getting a red and a white and find a good blend. For example do 1 part white to two parts red.

Very nice webpage by the way. :)

I am just starting to experiment with greens and have recently tried Green Horn. I took a smaller dose than normal and found I had good energy but not jittery or anxious. I found it good for pain relief too...that surprised me.

My vendor sent it as a free sample...good marketing because I will definitely be buying more!

I TOLE’ you, BoMalley! It just takes MORE mad science experiments to find a green you like. I’m liking greens more and more. I feel “Stuck” with reds because life is busy and my back pain has issue with my schedule. LOL

I know, right? It’s changed A LOT since we started and yet NOT AT ALL. Only we have changed and the vendor batches have changed and maybe the harvesting has changed. And the law in Illinois is under threat of change now. We will have to work on THAT nonsense! I have too many friends with improved lives in Illinois to support! And vendors! We all need to get behind this nonsense to keep Top Extracts (an approved vendor I personally enjoy shopping with) ON THE MAP! Please support the AKA and get the details for fighting this ban on Jim’s website, TopExtracts dot com. Don’t delay, please. Sorry to change the subject. I was on jury duty all week and am still reading posts from LAST WEEK!

Thank you I do appreciate all of you who have contacted our state rep who is trying to pass this bill. It is complete non-sense and I plan on attending Springfield to voice my concerns once our hearing date is set.

Keep fighting it could be your state next!

Yes it looks like we have another obstacle to overcome here in Springfield. We won our battle here before, and with the help of the AKA and our supporters we can put this new proposed legislation to rest permanently.
