I woke up to my stash smelling tangy again. I just threw my other 48 mansion jars out. I believe that my house has a lot of moisture.
My questions are. I live up stairs and our basement holds a lot of moisture and our a.c. unit is down stairs.

1. Are moisture packs toxic?
2. If moisture packs fail, what degrees can I heat kratom in the oven without ruining It?

We bought a dehumidifier 4 the basement. I just mega-waterproofed it after a sump failure and mold. All good down there now. Ours is in mason jars, and those are in airtight bags.

You need to look for Food Grade Silica Gel Packets. They have them on Amazon.
To kill mold the temperature has to reach 140 degrees Fahrenheit not sure how long to bake the kratom, have to search a little more for a better answer.
Will it effect the Kratom? Anyone?

Someone gave me baking instructions but I lost them. I'm still going to search for the silicon ones for back up. But this is what I did for now. You need:

Straws
Lighter
Needlenose pliers
Scissors
Iodide salt
Needles

Just clamp the end of the straw with needle nose pliers, burn the end where it's closed, pour ionized salt in it, cut the other end, grab the other end with pliers, burn other end, poke about 30 small holes in it.

I got about 20 before I gave up not even knowing if it'll work. This time I tried to insure it wouldn't get moisture. Kept them in original seal tight bags, put them in a drawer, and away front vents.

Side note, I'm sure people will pay better prices for non toxic packs in their kratom lol
Extra 5 cents in the bag to make, and sell for a extra 5 dollars.

West Marine Products carries all sorts of that stuff. Boats get mildew issues. If you have one nearby, go there. They’re online also.

Can't you just add instant rice?

I thought the same thing. But how would you keep the rice separate from the ground up leaf ?

I actually started doing that. I poured rice into a 2 ounce bag and then I was like " wait how am I going to get it out" even if you ingest the rice too you'll still be ingesting the stuff you don't want and less you place rice in small bags with wholes I guess. And if their is water I think the rice would absorb it and make the kratom mushy. I did try the marine site but didn't have exactly what I was looking for. I ordered some non toxic ones off of Amazon. I didn't order food grade ones. I hope they're both the same.

There could be another culprit besides moisture. It could be air exposure. I read someone that mitragyna gets a new name.
