A few months ago we asked some of the Approved Vendors to offer some discounts to our community. A lot of them graciously did. We have been asked to bring those discounts back. The following vendors would like to share the love for this forum with you. I know we all appreciate it.

I feel like I have missing an old friend. Haven't given it much attention. I got involved with trying a few different vendors and was curious about other strains. I learned about rotating. I enjoyed the excitement of discovering something new, what will Maeng Da bring, gold sounds lovely, the allure of sumatra, what is the mystery of Red horn. Tonight I dug out Canopy's Red Borneo, the first strain I discovered for pain management and the beginning of my success. I have put Borneo aside for months, tonight I found the cast aside bag and decided to give it the attention it was seeking.
Very relaxing and calming exactly what I needed. I will try not to neglect my Borneo anymore.

note- this kratom is at least 7 months old, no special storage, I left it in its original bag on a shelf on my desk.

Nan70,

I do that ALL THE TIME. Somehow I misfile favorite strains and they get buried under new, shiny bags!
It’s so much fun to dig these old friends out and take them for a spin around the block. Mine also still hold all alkaloids in place with only the standard ziploc and no special storage.

Some didn’t sound good at the time and go
Unopened! Then there they are when I think that strain might be perfect today. Divine intervention coupled with friends. I just tried a yellow Sunda from Canopy and I’ve not bought from them before.
Not bad. After that, I had a sample of DAKINE green Hulu to enjoy this morning. Thanks, Pete!

I have a white Hulu from In Sense Botanicals to enjoy after this head cold subsides. No sense wasting whites on a head cold. So I’m having COB’s Green Bali with PDO’s red Bali while I lie in bed with a fever. Quitting esmoking this week. Expected to be out of nicotine by now, but these last ones are dragging on and on as I’m losing interest in them. Long story but I’m quitting cold turkey once I’m out. With patches, gum, lozenges and DETERMINATION. I’m ready to get HEALTHY and stop relying as much on substances. Finally ready...

Have fun with your old friend(s).

Been rolling w/ Rob's White Borneo first thing in the morning, but was eyeing the Bent today. Maybe I'll just try the Hulu. Plan on taking advantage of his sale and will just ask him to send his "best" or "most interesting" strain on hand. I still have a coupla few f/ him I haven't even opened yet. Gotta call my mother and cousin to see whether they've taken the plunge yet. As for Borneo, I like it w/ some Bali before sleep. And good luck Laurie. Wish I were there! :-bd

I was wondering about other Borneos.

I have stuck with only the red but recently got some white and Green samples in an order.

SO I would be interested in hearing from others about the three Borneos and how they are working for you.

Osteopathy treatments have improved my alignment so much that pain is NOT my MAIN complaint anymore (it is SO NICE to be able to report that) so I can branch out a bit and experiment more with my Kratom stash.

Red Borneo will always be my favourite for pain, followed closely by Indo Maeng Da. Even though things are much better, I am not brave enough yet to NOT take Kratom before yoga practice, so I still rely on good pain relieving strains for that.

Unfortunately, vendors in Canada do not offer a huge variety of strains. There is no single vendor that I have found that can supply ALL the strains that I use regularly.

I am on the hunt now for a vendor that has a good Red Bali.

We have 2 strains of red bali, they are both good
1 Wild, 1 regular
If we aren’t giving then away, we have “sample packs”, a size of 6-8g we developed so alot of money doesnt have to be spent to try something, $2.87
Contact one of the stores and let me know you are and we will see what you would like to do.
Many like our regulars and others prefer wilds, different for each person
Thanx Bomally

Rob... thanks for the info on Red Bali ... you may have missed the part that I am in Canada so I like to support Canadian vendors and I keep discovering new ones!

Laurie...Thanks for your comment. I have not been on the forum because I have not been that well lately, BUT good osteopathy treatments have REALLY helped. Starting too feel more normal than I have in a long time!

Hopefully I can contribute more if I can get this state of wellness to hold.

I recently layed in a good supply of Green Borneo so am trying that out more too, but my complaint is usually the same ie If I need pain good relief I can only get it from the reds So the greens stay in the back of the cupboard for days when pain is more under control.

BTW as a followup to my last post...Now that I am feeling better I am much more active AND guess what, dealing with back pain again!

It seems I just can't win!

:-h. Wishing you continued successful with your pain management.
I always said its a 24/7 management process, starts with the position of how you sleep. Working out how to get out of bed, exercise that follows before I can even get something to eat. Then I need the plan of my day to figure out what I might need to do to manage. I cannot be spontaneous if that leaves me doing anything overly physical, standing in one spot for too long, being stuck somewhere were I can't find rest if I need. People think I am too rigid. I turn invites down a lot. Its the only way to get ahead of the pain. Kratom has allowed more flexibility, normalcy, being a person again.

I thought Red only worked well enough for pain management, but their are only two Reds I could even consider using during the day at work, I am less focused, more sedated. I am finally back to work for a few hours a day because of the green strains. Green Borneo worked very well, part of the reason is the nice even energy, great mood uplift. Managed the pain well enough, on greens I don't mind the pain as much. Some strains I get break through pains so I have carefully labeled them easy, medium, super busy. I also reduced the green strains dosage by 500 mg- less was more with the greens-, lasts around 5 hours. I think it took two months of experimenting to find these Greens for pain relief
Borneo, Elephant Maeng Da, Green Raiu, Green Hulu, Green Ketapang- I call desk work Kratom.
I am nicely surprised that the greens are working. Of course after being on my feet all day I need the relief of a Red at night.

White Borneo has some pain relief. I have duration problem with whites.
