My mom has a friend at work with lupus, she's on a alot of meds and needs help. My mom asked me about kratom and I gave her a day pain killing strain and wrote instructions and if she needs any more info to go to I love kratom forum. I'm happy to share with her this life changing plant. The only thing I'm worried about is the only known deaths is poly drug use and her over doing it and something happens. Anyone have any info that would better explain what I should say or Do?
Not only is taking it with a bunch of other pills bad on her, but I'm sure I could also get in legal trouble if something were to happen.

I would advise your Mom's friend that kratom is not something where "more is better". Most people I've heard from realize quickly that kratom takes care of most of the symptoms of lupus, so they begin to wean themselves off the dangerous pharmaceuticals. That is the smart thing to do and prevents drug/herb interactions.

Here's an article I wrote about a couple women with lupus, both of whom I've met and have stayed in contact with. They are doing quite well, using kratom: www.naturalnewsblogs.com/lupus-sle-kratom-two-womens-stories/

There are also a few articles in the BLOG section of ILoveKratom.com that give beginners instructions on how to use kratom intelligently. I wish more people would realize and use the resources they have with this site. The best blog to show here is titled something like "Beginner's Guide to Kratom".

Encourage this woman to start with a small dose of kratom. If she's wise, she should be able to figure out the rest of what to do.

P.S.: Oh, and if she is still on any kind of opioid, such as Tramadol, kratom won't even produce any effect until she gets most of the Tramadol or other opioid out of her system. She needs to READ the directions that are in the blog here, before taking kratom! Taking more in that situation is likely to cause projectile vomiting or worse. Educate her first!

Thank you Paul.
My daughter has lupus and I introduced her to Kratom to help manage flairs, mostly its fatigue and joint pain. She takes kratom about 3 times week. Her Rheu. Dr wanted her to take prescription Ibuprofen daily. She it starting turmeric instead.

She is taking about 2 medication now related to lupus and its doing well with kratom and Meds.

Getting information is a must not only for kratom but the meds the doctors prescribe. Refer her to the join forums and do research.

frogs the poly deaths you are referring aslo involved illegal drugs use. She will have to find a forum and ask question if she is interested in Kratom.

Frogs...how kind of you to want to help someone out!

I also have been enthusiastic about sharing, even giving away free samples. I am constantly sending people links and other info. Only one person has ever followed through.

I have come to the conclusion now, that you can lead a horse to water but.....whether or not they drink depends on how thirsty they are!

And I have earned that a lot of people seek answers BUT then when they are right in front of them they fail to recognize them.

We all know that using Kratom successfully requires a lot of experimentation and some people are just not comfortable with that level of uncertainty. They want to be told EXACTLY how much how often, what kind etc.

It really is up to each individual to find their way...we all did.

So my advice would be to offer up the information and then do not push it or constantly inquire how they are doing. They will come to you when they need to.
