If you can eat a large salad every day and find it is a good alternative to taking "stuff" to manage bowels -go for it! I couldn't eat that much at one sitting so herbal cascara and Aloe Ferox do the trick for me EVERYDAY.
There is also a good fruit lax mixture (REAL FOOD) that can be used. My mother takes at least 1 Tbsp of this EVERYDAY. Equal parts dried dates, dried figs, and raisins. Then double that amount of prunes. Cook that in the slow cooker in water, OR prune juice, OR senna tea (depending on how strong you need it), then when it is all cooked and soft blend it into a paste. Take as much or as little as you need to keep things soft and moving! Probably not a good mixture for someone who is diabetic but good for anybody else. You have to find what works for you!
Fresh vegetable juices can work to keep the drains moving too. Because it is so concentrated it acts as an osmotic laxative, meaning it keeps the water in the bowel and prevents it from being re-absorbed. Obviously you need to make sure your fluid intake is sufficient as well. BEV

The thing that separates us from other Kratom Forums is that we're not going to turn away members or vendors due to special interests as they do at the other popular forums. Although our main focus here is to build a Kratom Community with up to date and accurate industry information, we do allow vendor reviews and marketing in the appropriate locations. This is a place to share ideas, information and to advocate for this amazing leaf. We welcome newcomers to join and start learning today.
