I was thinking the other day about how to describe the affects of Kratom. Especially when you are starting out.

Then it popped into my head the filming of the movie Wizard of Oz. The beginning of the movie is filmed in Black and White. Than Dorothy arrives in Oz and the world goes to technicolor.

For me that is somewhat of the effect of Kratom.

I start out and I'm feeling a little down. Low energy maybe slightly depressed. With the normal aches and pains a 60 year old feels.

I take a 7g dose of kratom and in around an 1/2 hour the world goes into technicolor. The world just seems brighter. My energy level rises. Aches and pains dissappear. I'm in a good mood more optimistic. If I'm walking I get a bounce to my step.

How do you feel on Kratom?

Great description..!!

For me It’s like putting oil on rusty gate hinges, and then turns technicolor B) never want to go back to black and white but sure makes me appreciate the color that much more !!

It’s like playing ping pong in DingDang , worth doing =D>

It’s like little spider monkeys finding a tree full of tropical fruit

It’s like when you come in from the rain and cozy up next to a wood burning stove with chestnuts roasting and innyour favorite mug a batch of Yerba mate with a lot of ginger, turmeric, maple syrup and 1/2&1/2....

Blissful !!
Subtle !!
Not so subtle !!
Relief that is worth it’s weight!
A smile that was buried under a demolished house that’s no longer under the rubble....

It’s knowing that the day will be ok because you can do what you need to and not be chained to the wall with pain

That’s how it is for me ... (L) (L) :pinch:

Im a believer in the positive life changing/ life giving / pain relieving qualities this amazing leaf provides

Having a spinal degenerative disease, it really is like oil on rusty hinges

It’s no more antidepressants, it’s no more anti anxiety meds

And it grows on a tree

I love this statement. That feeling that I can make it all OK is worth its weight in gold. Years of anti-depressants didn't do it for me, well maybe a little bit. But Kratom is a sure-fire get up and get moving boost.

Most of my doses are 2 grams or less. And most days I take it once in the morning. But it sure is a blessing to these 68 year old bones.

What you said is so cool especially the quote below.

I don't take Kratom primarily for pain, for me it's energy, anti depressant and anti anxiety, a bonus is that it takes away my normal 58 year aches and pains. It's really impactful thinking about how it can improve so much the life of a person with severe pain.

Yeah, I’m a better father and partner , cause my chronic pain while still there is literally 70-90% taken taken down. I am the poster child for life changing for the better through this thing called Kratom. I also benefit from anxiety lowered and depression practically 99%!gone...

Did the antidepressants for a bit , that was a nightmare finding one that didn’t make me feel like I was dying or going crazy ... all while being utterly and devastatingly depressed .... ugh... so grateful I made it through that .

It’s so nice to have this community/!friends/ family to share experiences and stories with, lessons learned ,

Just think if all those folks out there suffering knew about this ... their reality would potentially shift in the extreme ways that mine has and some of the folks I rap with here ..

The potential for a better life is there , pharmaceutical free, if not totally then at least cut down tremendously, it’ should be the first line of attack imo, just think of the happiness increase , pain reduction and money all the hospitals and insurance company’s would save , that should make it attractive enough to give the finger to big pharma !!!

I enjoy your posts kratering , brother from another mother , my Kratom bro!!

Be well mi amigo
