Over the last 7 years this forum has grown exponentially. With your help, We have created a community of Kratom enthusiasts to come together and discuss the industry. The traffic that this site has received has been exciting but also overwhelming. All the while the site grew a little out of date. Lol, wow, Laurie wasn't kidding about adrafinil and not sleeping. Lesson learned! :)

And for context I can drink coffee and caffeinated beverages like they're water, and even not too far from bedtime. I now totally get why the military holds it in reserve for combat. I was ready for bed, but my mind was like a car that preferred to not be garaged overnight. "No thank you, I'll just idle in the driveway, we've got a big day tomorrow!" Eek! lol :)

With that and other nootropics flowing through me I felt inspired to cancel my breaking of my KFF fast and going another day. Hardly getting much sleep sort of spoiled the anticipation for that. Kratom Free Saturday went nicely, and I say that without allowing much for not having gotten much sleep.

And of course I had to see the results of trying more Adrafinil. ;)

I was figuring maybe the sleeplessness of the night was mostly a one-off. But I did start off with just half of a 300 mg. capsule. I was more or less on an even keel and having a good day, and then when it came time for my evening supplements I decided to take the other half.

The good news is that I now know that a whole cap is too much for me, possibly because I take other "nootropics". I tried a third of a capsule today, and it feels like plenty. Oddly enough some people take two capsules a day, which is why, given my weight and tolerance for caffeine, I figured I could dive in and take a whole capsule. Normally I cautiously administer my first try with something new.

After today I'll rotate it out for tomorrow. Then going forward I might see just how low the minimum effective amount can be. It will be a nice bonus if I find that the bottle I ordered effectively has three times as many servings as I'd thought.

I am late to the party here.
I recently ordered some Rhodiola Rosea. I have been suffering fatigue like crazy lately and I think I need some thyroid support. Any tips on taking this supplement? Empty stomach or with meals? Half life expectations, along with kratom or between doses? I am only taking Glocu supplement daily now I am looking to pinpoint a few more supplements and expand the arsenal.

I think of taking Rhodiola as I think of drinking a triple Espresso. It lasts longer, and it doesn't give that over caffeinated feeling, but that's my mind set. Rhodiola will also smooth out other kinks as it hits various receptors in your brain, but as I take other supplements like CBD, Kava, Theanine, DLPA, etc., that's become secondary to me.

But if taken as a standalone supplement it can be a life saver if you're tired, frazzled, despondent, and in fight or flight mode.

Russian Special Forces troops were getting it sent to them in care packages from their families, as they went off to fight the Mujahideen in Afghanistan in its cold and mountainous regions. Or so we were told by those recounting the power of Rhodiola.

Empty stomach should be fine. I take the powder and it tastes like it will be nasty in an empty stomach, but it isn't. Your mileage may vary of course, and some tea with honey would probably be excellent with it.

I have Rhodiola Rosea 900mg, 3% Rosavins, 1% Salidrosides
Pray tell want is this supplement
One of my whim purchases. The description seemed to make sense to want I needed.
I wanted something to help fight fatigue after work, my morning kratom wears off and I still have work and chores to get done until my evening Kratom dose.

I take this around 3:30pm. first hour or two I notice the clearing of thoughts, a mental clarity similar to Kava. Boy did the energy level kick in about hour and half later. I piled on my chores figured knocked them out instead of dragging them throughout the rest of the week, Like a Laurie house cleaning ;) :-bd . Strangest is working through a bit of pain, because the Kratom dose is out of my system but I didn't seem to mind. Plowed through my chores and now I am alert even with a dose of Red Thai in me.
Wondering what the expected half life is of this supplement? I felt taking it around 3 or 4 ish wouldn't effect sleep. This is about 6 hours later I think the energy is diminishing now.

serving size says two capsules- I don't think so lol.

If you like adrafinil, try Panax Korean ginseng! The first two days are ZIPPY. Then you have tolerance on the way.

(I’m cleaning my jenga pile 1 of 2 of supplements before I start laundry and washing floors before this next pet sit gig. Lots of reminders of your posts here on my bed :))
