Laurie wrote: That Hirsuta bites if you take much at once! I would be very comfortable assuming the mitraphylline caused you to feel dizzy/unwell because I found that to be true repeatedly as I prepared for Hirsuta Only Thursday (HOT). One teaspoon at a time for at LEAST 4 hours or that feeling sick/off kicks right in.

No headache, but I’m fortunate enough to never get them now that I don’t drink alcohol. Never had a day without a headache for YEARS. Lucky to be alive!

Night sweet fam damily <3

Hey Laurie. May I ask you what's your usual dosage of kratom and your frequency as well? Also, where do you get your mitryagina hirsulta?(sp?)

Edit: after reading the thread, I got some answers. I'd just like to compare tapers and see how I can introduce hirsuta into my doses. I currently take one table spoon three times a day and try to wait six hours between at least. A tablespoon is 6.25g, so I'm at about 19g a day.

You still take kratom with your hirsuta aside from your HOT? How do you gauge how much kratom to take with your hirsuta?

Laurie wrote: Yeah, that heat wave was brutal (for those not from here). It’s very comfortable temperatures much of the year. But about 3-5 days in September get TOO HOT TO TROT! Most of us don’t have A/C for using about 5 days a year.

I was pretty grumpy through most of it. But went to the County Fair yesterday evening and went from TOO HOT to TOO COLD in about 2 hours. Had the BEST PIECE OF PIE that is local to the area (though I had never heard of it) - Gilroy not Santa Cruz - called Gizdich pie. It’s locally made and made funnel cake disappear from our minds!

Hope you’re doing better today, Somethingsacred Brandon (and everyone).

I could never have walked the length of that Fair twice without my handy leaf! That is FOR CERTAIN!

I saw you thanked my previous post, but I edited it! Sorry

I would be cautious with Hirsuta. I have found vendors to be mixing it with Kratom. I know this to be fact as I tested positive for Kratom when I had only been taking Hirsuta for 4 weeks. I think this will become a ripoff market with the increasing popularity of Hirsuta.

Tea Time is as reliable as they come, but I agree with your point about being wary. Hirsuta costs more to buy from suppliers, so some vendors might be tempted to cut it with the cheaper leaf, Kratom.

Then again, both contain Mitraphylline, so we'd have to know what your drug test was looking for. I thought they looked for Mitragynine and/or 7-hydroxymitragynine when specifically looking for Kratom use, but who can say with certainty about all tests.

Cat's Claw, which is sold by name brands at Amazon, also has Mitraphylline, so if that's what you dinged positive for then there's your plausible deniability.

Off Topic: Jen from Tea Time is getting treated for a cancer, prayers and best wishes her way, and to add to insult to injury she, like so many younger people, didn't have health insurance. And Tea Time had just invested everything into improving their business. So if anyone was thinking of making a purchase, or had extra money (Ha, at Christmas Time?) they planned on donating to a good cause, there's a Go Fund Me page, and their site is having a major sale.

I'm going to donate another $10 now on behalf of ilovekratom, and I'll order some stuff from them. Their stem and vein is the best, and they offer Green, Red, and White! I have the Red and White, and they're the perfect, coarse, grind.

I was thinking of giving this a thread, but like Jen and Rex I feel funny about appeals for funds.

OK, I'm off to make the donation, and then I'll buy some stuff, probably the Green Stem and Vein, and the Hirsuta.

Mitraphylline (Hirsuta), Mitrajavine (Javanica), and Mitragynine (Kratom) metabolize in the body into 5-desmethylmitragynine and 17-desmethyldihydromitragynine, 7-hydroxymitragynine, and Mitragynine pseudoindoxyl and would be found in your urine if you used any of the above. There's very little if any mitragynine left, so a panel would likely not test for it. The panel is more likely to test a result of a half-life in your metabolism, the same as it tests for other substances (alcohol a bit different as blood alcohol tests are common).

Depending on the panel, if you take Hirsuta, yes it could show as that you took kratom. Javanica could do the same as well. However, this doesn't mean what you received was not hirsuta, it means that your panel could be testing for a metabolite (end product) of mitra, which it should, as I'm assuming they tested your urine, not blood.

Yes, it was urine tests, and not just one but 4 times.

Yes, the half-life of mitragynine is between 12-14 hours. For instance, if you had 100mg of mitragynine in your system, 12 hours later you'd have 50mg and roughly 50 mg total of either 7ohm or Mitragynine pseudoindoxyl. A day later you'd have 25mg mitragynine and 75mg, etc. 7ohm and Mitragynine pseudoindoxy roughly have a 12-14 hours half-life in the body too.

Most panels detect down to a micro gram, so after hirsuta, kratom, or javanica, most panels, given a 100mg mitragynine example, would be able to pick up mitragynine for around 8-9 days later. if the panel were for Mitragynine pseudoindoxyl, it would pick this up 11-12 days later. If detecting 5-desmethylmitragynine or 17-desmethyldihydromitragynine the panel could detect 13-14 days later.

Depending on how they spaced the panels, you could have popped on all four for taking hirsuta just once, even 13 days later.

That makes perfect sense. So in a nutshell you should have a good 2 weeks clear of anything before a test. Thank you very much!
