I have been lurking around for a while, i have been trying different companies and not getting good results and after reading so much about them, i decided to try 100 grams from each of the two companies.

I thought they would be the same, and now i can say they aren't.

I think Gold Leaf is wild and In Sense is plantation or farmed Kratom.
But when i tried the free sample they sent with my order, i asked for red borneo from In Sense and also bought 100 grams of the red borneo wild from gold leaf, and i was surprised!

The same kind from each site, while they were similar, they were different. I didn't even know there was a difference til now.
the Wild felt better but different but the plantation was really good for my pain. They both helped my pain but i think the plantation was a bit better.
wow, its a hard choice, the one from gold leaf took away my worries and helped me feel better about life.

Hard to describe, but I am very happy with the orders i got from both companies, and i didn't ever know there was any difference til now.
The people i talked to on the phone, which i was surprised they really answered, were very pleasant and help full.

I would love to hear from anyone else who also has tried these guys and knows from experience what other types are good?

It took me a while to make my choice but i am glad you guys are here at this forum, it helps people like myself who don't know a whole lot about this plant. I was amazed when i tried it for what it did...
even better than the prescription stuff i used to get, and i was stunned at how fresh this kratom is compared to the crap
i was getting
If anyone has any suggestions about other good types from these guys, please let me know.
I am glad I tried them!
It gave me a bit more confidence about what i read here on this forum, the people here really seem to care a bit
more than other places i've been to.
Thanks

hey rookie!

you really cant go wrong with either. I agree with you on in sense being a little better on pain. I personally love the red Sumatra, red dragon, fuzzy dragon, dark red MD, green hulu and bali, white hulu, and all of their golds. a lot of their 'other herbals' I cant live without. like akuamma. haven't had a bad strain from them yet.

I tried the In Sense Dark Red MD last night and it was really potent, and I even started feeling some euphoria, which was unexpected but welcome. Though that could be strictly related to the strength of the two main alkaloids.

I just broke open the Green Optima, and it's been quite pleasant so far. Relaxing, but with an alertness to it.

Thanks for the pointers Babel-17 and michele373

I was wondering about the red md dark and how it was

from your words it looks like what i may need for nights, relaxing but will help with my pain, euphoria even would be great.
and i have been wondering about that fuzzy kind

I think i am placing an order tonight with Gold Leaf.

i was away for a couple days, but will be checking back soon

Very much appreciate the suggestions, thank you!

you really cant go wrong. I think you will be pleased! I can take dark red md during the day at small doses. but everones reactions are different. even our reactions change! if you like whites, even to blend the hulu is awesome.

no problem!

Thanks michele373,

I might try that, i am more inclined so far to reds anyway late in the day. I like the mellow with no gitty-up so i can wind down. ;)

I wonder what the difference is between the red md and the dark red md is?

Maybe i will try and call tomorrow and see if anyone answers the phone. I thought i got lucky last time i called because i actually talked to someone.

i am hearing they do pick up the phone....i would rather talk to a person than a flippin machine, or leave a message that never gets returned.

So far so good with these guys, been pleased so far :-)

yes I would call. and it wasn't a fluke. they really do answer the phones. if its during their hours of operation of course. just like any vendor, they cant give medical advice, ( need this kind of reaction when I take this ) BUT you want specific answers about the strains and how they are dried/ made/ what color was the leaf.. all are happy to answer.

the difference between the 2 is a great question. I just know I tried both and meshed better with the dark. you could ask what the fuzzy dragon or red dragon are blends of. or if their yellow is a fermented white or a green/ white mix. what makes a chocolate, well chocolate! the kx is a great unique blend with herbs if you have inflammation issues. yes I just threw you a curveball!

Hi rookie,

The Dark Red Maeng Da has a bit more relaxing properties tham the Regular Red Maeng Da

For me Red MD is better for days and dark can be better at nights.

Thanx for asking, i am sure you aren't the only one wondering that also. :-?

If you want get a hold of me and we will see about getting you a small sample.

Thanks everyone
