A few months ago we asked some of the Approved Vendors to offer some discounts to our community. A lot of them graciously did. We have been asked to bring those discounts back. The following vendors would like to share the love for this forum with you. I know we all appreciate it.

So I started out with Kratom, knowing that I needed it to get over the pain I was having at work, but I was afraid to take it at work, thinking that it would make me feel all muddled in the head and what not. I was taking large doses in the evening thinking that it would carry through a bit to the next day. I tried different variations of this experiment, different doses, empty stomach, full stomach and it did work to some extent. I was able to keep the pain at bay until about 2PM each day, but then it was back.

Finally, about a week in I just decided to have some before work because I knew it was going to be a challenging day for me and I was already hurting that morning. It was fine, absolutely fine. Aside from a slightly sleepy feeling in my eyes there were no problems at all. I took one capsule that morning and then two more about 4 hours later when I felt some pain coming on, and I got through the entire day using less Kratom than I had been using before.

So, I have a new routine now that actually leaves me feeling pretty good at the end of the day and I'm using less and feeling pretty darn hopeful for the first time in a while.

One of the BEST reasons for using Kratom to control pain is that it does not result in impairment. New users are often amazed by this.

Taking smaller amounts more frequently is the best way to control chronic pain (as you have discovered) because this keeps the alkaloids levels in the blood more even.

Congratulations on finding your sweet spot! Now if only we could ALWAYS be so lucky. Careful measuring AND TIMING and strain choices and metabolism changes are all evolving (ideally). Once you find it, you can stay close to it WITH WORK. I only run into problems when I’m too lazy, too tired or too unwell to do the legwork.

Today was really a fantastic day. I had the day off and didn't do much of anything except relax and read a good book and eat some good food. The only time I felt even a little bit of pain was when I walked the dog, but it was entirely manageable. I'm so pleased. I feel like I'm getting a life back. Even though I didn't do a whole lot today, I was just comfortable and able to focus on small things that I had sort of forgotten about for a while.

That first paragraph says a lot. Read it again. We are ALL amazed - still.

Thanks for writing that, BoMalley. :0)

It is nice (beneficial) to keep a log. the strain, the time & even what you ate & drank Oh ya..drink LOTS & LOTS of water. My morning dose of less than a gram in my coffee works much better than my 2 gram early evening dose.

Less IS more! Especially for new folks. The word “better” leaves much wiggle room for what “better” means.

It also depends on what type
Some are better for days and others are better for nights
