I heard from a recent video that white strain leaves are the youngest leave's on the tree and the red leaves are the most mature while the green falls in the middle. Has anyone else heard or read this theory?

This is correct! Most leaves that are mature are in fact red vein. White horned leaves can be slighty older than its counter parts Elephant, King, or regular... But in fact most leaves that are harvested early are white vein. The red vein represents a mature leaf. This is definitely truth!... I have also found out what chocolate bentuangie is! That is just a more fermented leaf.... after a deep red betuangie, the longer they take the process browns the leafs... i have heard this recently from 3 great sources!

Elephant strains come from large leaves that people say look like elephant ears. If not mistaken if the strain just states elephant, then it is a green.

What does bentuangie mean? It means it helps my pain, in my home. AND Kratom Asia is right about the side effects, LOL
But seriously, Joe, did I miss your description of it in the chocolate discovery article?

Really cool, Joe. I thought I read that page, but I have re-read it and will re-read it again (brain zap). I'll argue with my own brain until it soaks up the information. So frustrating. My brain comes and goes as it pleases these days. Thanks kobegirl! I found the right article (which had some of the issues about stem & vein - lol). Eventually some info sticks. Love you folks!
