I have recently been mixing Red Thai and White Thai together for an awesome combo. Does anyone else make their own mixes? What do you prefer? Do you have any special combos that totally rock?

I have to be careful when I mix. I once mixed two of my favorite greens and the results were less than pleasing. I feel it was because I low dose greens 1.7 grams and when I 50/50 my favorites greens I wasn't getting enough of the mood lifting alkaloids or pain relieving alkaloids from either strain. The combo ending up being a dud.
I do like adding a dash white borneo to red hulu. I dose a little higher 2.4 grams of reds.

At onlinekratom.com, we specialize in fusions (blends)! Check out our fusions tab to see some of our most popular mixes we've come up with. Some include an extract, some are just plain leaf combos.

OK-
I have been browsing your web site, you are one of the handful of vendors that carry caps. Maybe the only vendor that offers capsules sample sizes that I have seen.
I will definitely add you to the recommend list when members new to kratom are a little wary of powder.

Thanks for the reply, but I was more looking for members who have mixed their kratom at home and their results, rather than someone trying to sell something. But thanks anyway.

Aurora77 touches on a good point.

I wonder how many people even BUY mixes and fusions and such?

I mix my own as well. I prefer it for more control over how much red versus green or white. Depending on the pain and depression intensity IN THE MOMENT (that is setting the theme of the day).

I don’t purchase blends.

No worries, Online Kratom. I’d have jumped on that marketing opportunity too! And it may have been needed information for members and lurkers alike!

It’s a WIN/WIN!

Aurora77, I also have “General surprise” blends in my purse (4) for my “kratom shooters” on the go! I mix more evenly in those little pill bottles with one dose total of powder per shooter to dump in my mouth with water on the fly.

No specific blends can be recommended by me because not one person has walked in my shoes. Nor do they metabolize the same way and have the same dietary habits.

My blends for depression and pain may not be worth a dang for your - issues and challenges

I was looking for a thread like this and just about to start one. I really like the blends. I love working out and have several injuries that can cause me to be able to not train as hard or regularly as i like.
If im in Pain Im a huge fan of Red Maeng Da/ Green Maeng Da so its not too sedating etc. They have a nice counter balancing effect with each other.
I also enjoy green and red super indo.
Up until recently i didnt touch the whites. i never liked the feeling but i realized i was just using the wrong amount. Now, i have been throwing in the white in the morning with the Red MD.
I have tried many different suppliers and leaf types but to be totally honest i dont notice huge differences so i like to stick to the basics and try to make up my own blends based on how im feeling.
Now what i do need if anyone knows a great formula to lower tolerance? i have been using it a while now and its creeping up. however i still dont need to use pain meds or nsaids and since i only have one kidney that is a huge + for me and im not trust worthy with a bottle of pills.
i have been reading alot of people saying about crushed leaf etc but im not sure if thats just a marketing gimmick or it really makes a difference?

I bought several capped ozs from kratom krates and just take a couple different pills per time as i figure out what blend my body likes best. I had never tried yellow MD. I got that, white, and green since i seem to do well with the MD and have done several different blends based on my needs throughout the day. Just figured i mention the idea cause then your not stuck with a bunch of mixed stuff if you dont happen to like the combo. plus, their caps are really well priced imo. I hope im allowed to say their name. i found them as a vendor on this site when searching.

Stem n Vein! Not crushed leaf, tho crushed leaf makes a nice tea.

Stem n vein Is commonly used to lower tolerance. I use it every few days AT LEAST, so my doses stay at 1 and a half to 2 teaspoons every 2-6 hours.

Even after using extract for a week, stem n vein brought my tolerance down within 2 days on the outside.

Christopher’s Organic Botanicals (COB) has a nice blended powder version. I think Nan70 said she likes one she gets from PA Botanicals? She’ll be along to correct me on that.

Many vendors don’t bother listing stem n vein, but many have it if asked. They gotta test a lot of strains, ya know?!

EDIT: PS: Joe @ RE-LEAF LLC will argue the issue. He suggests agmatine. Which I found to be a good analgesic as well as a potentiator, so it makes sense to use less powder and add agmatine. But. Agmatine MUST BE used on an empty stomach. It turns into protein if there’s food in your stomach.

Agmatine is inexpensive and useful! I got the munchies from it! So I gained quite a bit of weight using that method. But it ALSO works.

Hopefully some other peeps will post what they use! Great question!
