Hey Jasmin! Quick question....I haven't had very good effects from white strains and it sounds like you are the same. Can you recommend what gets you up and moving without feeling weird? I tend to stick with reds, but got some green hulu and it was impressive. Do you mix your own blends and if so can you tell me what you use?
:-)

Hi there! I'm no expert. ;o) I haven't tried too many whites because I'm often sensitive to stimulants and I'm looking for the most pain relief. I find Green Indo and Red Thai help plenty with energy. I'm one of those people who also get some energy from sedating reds, so my case might not count for much. And, nope, I don't make my own blends. :)

Back to the review the iporuru. I'm pretty sure this had a big part in the energy of the Kx mix. Yesterday I burned 1/2 tsp with some green Indo and it felt more energizing. I wasn't convinced it was the iporuru, so today I tried 1/4 tsp with some red borneo and once again felt more energy than I was expecting. I'm wondering if 1/2 tsp was too much for me yesterday, but I also think my nervous system was just a bit wonky because the green Indo made me jittery without the iporuru and it never does that. Still, I think for me less is more with this stuff. I'll be trying 1/8th tsp next time I mix it with kratom. From what I found on the internet, the usual dosage is 1-2 grams two to three times a day. That didn't do me very much good without a scale, lol. I just guessed that it weighs more per tsp than kratom because it looks more dense in the spoon and it is a bark not a leaf. I still want to try this without kratom to see what it is adding to the mix. :)

Almost forgot! My husband tried the iporuru without the kratom and thinks it gave him energy. He had very little sleep last night and should have been worn out, but he wasn't.

Another thing to add - the Kx puts my husband to sleep! I rave about the energy, but he responds totally different. Opposites attract I guess. ;0)
