I usually don't respond to reds at all. I've tried Red Bali, Red Borneo and Red MD from reliable vendors but I don't feel a thing. I noticed that In Sense/Gold Leaf has Red Malay and was wondering if anyone has tried it and what they thought. I usually love Green Malay so thought maybe I would try the Red. I love strains that give energy and mood lift but if I could find a red that gave mood lift but was relaxing it could be something to take in the evenings. I'm guessing that no reds really give energy but any advice from my fellow ILK boarders would be appreciated.

Red malay has more mellow relaxing properties, with analgesic properties as well
Red papua has mild energetic properties as well as analgesic properties
As with most reds, less has more energetic properties, and more can have relaxing properties
As is Red Bali etc...
Hope this helps

Red Maeng Da
Red hulu
Red Papua
I tried these from Insense.
More energetic and also relaxing not as sedating as other Reds.

Red Malay was very relaxing but I not a big fan of green malay, everyone can respond differently to kratom. Sample sizes help.

The Red Bentuangie was excellent too! It was wonderful in the pain relief, and relaxing, mood lift was there too!

Nessa is funny that you would say that because I had ordered the red malay but then Rob called me about something else and I ask him to change it to the red bentuangie. I think I'm going to like that better. I just got my order today so I haven't tried everything yet.

You can't go wrong with either Red Malay or Red Bentuangie. I would get multiple strains so that you can rotate.
