While I know kratom can be a fickle plant, I was wondering what everyone considers to be the best "pain relieving" kratom they've had, preferably recently. I am a recovering heroin addict of 4 months or so, Keaton has been a game changer for me.

In the past I end up relapsing to pain killers from chronic back pain, then eventually get back into heroin. Without kratom I dont know what I would do, I have some fantastic stuff but I'm wondering if there is better put there for pain relief. I'd be eternally grateful to any advice. Thank you all!

hey bakedry! happy to have you here. im fairly new to kratom myself and ive learned everyone reacts differently to it. whies, yellows, golds, and a few greens are my normal rotation right now. slight splash of red but they make me sleepy and don't knock out the pain for me like I guess they do for most.

my very first try of kratom is still one of my go to's. green mang da. im basic I know.. right now loving gold mang da, white malay, white borneo, green hulu and of course mang da. but I need pain relief with pep in my step. good luck! you are safe with any company on the vendor list. many have a forum open with discount codes, and I still love getting sample ounces, change it up. no commitment!

Any quality red vein should work well for pain. An excellent combo that works well for my knee pain is a turmeric supplement along with kratom.

Welcome to ILK :-h Bakedry93. It will be Different for each Person. You will just have to try out Different Strains & Different Vendors to find what works best for your Body Chemistry Makeup. Usually Bentuangie, Red Bali, Red MD & Red Indo are some of the best Strains for Pain. Green Malay being the Best all around strain for doing everything from energy, relaxation, mood lifting & pain relief but not the best for Pain Relieving. Red Malay would be a better option.

Red vein kratom tends to be overall better for pain relief than other strains, but comes with more sedation than the other varieties.

Green vein kratom is another very viable option for pain relief. Greens tends to be more balanced in effects than reds, and as such cause much less sedation. Additionally, green veins tend to last longer overall, and this can be very useful when dealing with pain.

White vein kratom is by far the least effective for pain, but it has many other uses, and as such is worth trying.
If anybody has any Questions about Kratom please private message me or make a Post & I will be glad to answer as soon as I can usually within 24 hours if not sooner. I'm usually on really late at night Between Midnight & 5am.

Red Borneo has the highest level of pain relieving alkaloids (mitragynine).

All reds have higher levels of pain relieving alkaloids than greens or whites.

The mitragynine alkaloid, however, is the one that can cause chemical dependence and escalating tolerance so it might be wise to experiment with other strains to find out what ones work best for you.

Taking different strains keeps the alkaloid profile fresh and your body does not get used to a consistent "dose" of alkaloids at regular intervals.

Red Nerv Blend from Re-Leaf. I order 100grams an ask them for 4 other50 gram blends or strains they actually call them by a batch number...and wrote that they pick the strongest they got to get me thru withdrawal....... I am no expert...this was my first order a month ago after lots of reading and searching post and comments everywhere and reading Kratom provider websites....re-leaf.us. should just make a kit called opiate off.... my most recent was off 3 years of daily use .. and am still in disbelief...

I’m curious how victorb153 is doing. I’m praying/hoping he’s SLEEPING!

Tiggermanscrat, if you happen by this thread while in the surgery waiting area, I am also praying/hoping everything is going fine with y’all.

Praying/hoping is a way I express a big hug or two.

Laurie... i am doing good i found a doctor who understands and has given me valium...and i have to figure out the lowest level i can to get to sleep... because i was such an odd case on abig dose of fast acting benzo fopr 10 years and tyhe pulled cold turkey and then handed to a physchiatriast who drugged me with everything except anything that helped me sleep...an 10 moths of total insomnia with not a single thing even helping in the slight way... Because of my children and the fact i am alone with them 24/7 and we dont have family in the area...this doctor has given me a chance but when i was given it 10 years ago i was told it was a s leeping pill and never took once during the day.. so my case is so weird he didnt know what to do.. But because of children he listen to me and told him this is what i belived was my only hope... now i have to find the lowest level i need because ive never taken any during the day so i dont know how that will efrfect what i take at6 nuight plus tis is a long lasting benzo and the othert i was on was short acting....4 days now and the xperiment is going great i have slept 6 to 8 hours for 3 nights afetr a year oif insomnia i cant put it into words....I still take my kratom i have done days where i skipped doses and last week i skipped a whole day and i didnt feel anything bad.... i am placing my new order and love my Red Nerv Blend from re-leaf... and the 4 other varities i asked them to send me for pain and opaite withdrawal.. now that i am sleeping and have the kratom i am going to ask them for an energizing morning one and a miday and more Red to sleep....Thank you so much When i see some complaining of pain on benzo boards i tell them to come here and the nicest forum/people ive met are here....Thank you

victorb153 i have never had a problem waking up if needed in the middle of the night by one of my daughters while taking benzos.

what i did have a problem with was strong anti-pyschotic meds such as seroquel. I hated that feeling. it just made me so sedated and groggy. i def. couldnt function or drive in the middle of the night on them. Plus i would wake up feeling so groggy i would have to take a hour or so drinking coffee and try to get moving.
