Has anyone had an adverse effects on their immune system with Kratom? I have been taking Kratom for nearly 2 years (though I plan to start ordering from this site) and I have only had positive effects of it. However, I am 30 and I recently got shingles which is fairly unusual for someone that age. My brother is finishing residency to be a doctor and anyone that has anyone who's in medicine in your family will tell you they are a GREAT way to freak you right out on what could cause something like this. It's more likely this was an idiopathic cause, but obviously I want to cover my bases. Anyone heard of it impacting your immunity in a negative way?

I'm will be 32 on the 16th, I have been benefiting from kratom for at least 5 years. I have had no adverse side effects from kratom. Everything is just fine and I actually feel healthier now than I have before I started. Hopefully you are buying from a reputable vendor and getting fresh powder and chemical free Kratom.

Thanks! And yes I am. I honestly didn't think it was related, but you never know. I recently had a pretty bad sunburn and other stressors- nothing crazy but family dog died, etc. I handle stress pretty well mentally so sometimes I don't know I am stressed. Truthfully, I am thinking its probably more something like that, but was just curious for some feedback. I too have found it only to have nothing but positive effects, but you never know. Thank you!!

I believe it was Cybin_Spores ?, who mentioned chemical free kratom n buying from a reputable vendor, but how would a newbie like myself know who are the reputable ones, that sell chemical free ? Is there an area here on that topic ? Any help n direction- on what's best for opiate withdrawal n pain relief, would also be appreciated. In gratitude, IndigoGirl

There are a list of vendors here at I Love Kratom up on the right side of the screen on the top tab bar. My go to vendor is Pharmacy Dropout, Jeff runs the company, once I found this site I knew I found what I've been looking for. The best freshest kratom I've ever had seriously. The quality is outstanding. The prices are pretty fricking awesome as well, $180 for a kilo. I'm sure there are lots of good vendors that sell chemical free kratom, but this ones my favorite. I have gotten a sample from another one recently, but still I'm sticking with Pharmacy-dropout for the most part. I think most any strain is good for opiate withdrawl. When I started kicking the pills I used alot of Bali, that was my go to. But when I started I was only ordering from a vendor that had 4 strains at the most. Now that I know there are many different varieties of kratom there are alot of choices and you just gotta try them for yourself and see which ones you like. The reds are really good for relaxing and sedation and pain. The white gives a bit more energy as well as the greens. I like all types just depends on my mood.

Hi There, Indigo here. I learned about Kratom, as I want to be totally free of opiates, that I was put on, not fully realizing it was such a strong, bad rx. I have not yet tried Kratom, but I do want it to be chemical free. Otherwise, I will be back to square 1, by subjecting myself to more toxins. Toxins in opiates can do strange things to us, by trashing our immune systems. Though, I have cut way back. I know, I will soon need to get started with the K., as the pain, often gets far to hard to handle. I have been reading up on all that, but haven't read anywhere about K. doing that same thing. I do however feel, that any toxins or allergens can wreck havoc to our immunity. Blessings...

Hey there,

I've been studying Kratom for a couple years and from all I've learned it has positive effects on our immunes system's.

Its got some alkaloids that's boost the immune system including (Epicatechin), which is an antioxidant, antiviral, antibacterial, and a anti-inflammatory.

Another alkaloid is (Isomitraphylline)& (Isopteroprodine), which act as Immunostimulants in the human body.

I'm still researching other alkaloids but as you can see, Kratom has many positive effects on the immune system, and its being looked at for cancer, malaria, and leukemia as well.

I hope this helps. Have a great day. Take care!

Justin Kats - KatsKshop.com has some of the best Kratom I've ever had. It's potent too...he's currently working on his site right now so depending on when you read this, it may not be up yet. But you can find him on Facebook under that name...just tell him Wade sent you, he'll hook you up.
