"Once in a Harvest Moon I'll have to repeat that step": Neil Young's song "Harvest Moon" talks about lovers who go on different paths but come back again when one realizes that he is love with that person again.

"once in a Wolf Moon the effect will differ a little from the norm": Neil Young's song "Wolf Moon" differs from his usual music because it is part of a protest album against an agrochemical company. The song talks about how nature is in competition with all our human blundering of the Earth.

Finally, someone picked up on what I was putting down (Welfare Mothers reference/hint)!!! Both are great "Moon" songs by the finest songwriter this side of Bob Dylan...congrats front360! PM me with what strain you want from Pharmacy Dropout and your snail mail address and I'll order it asap!

Sorry my friend but that is not the answer I'm looking for...I even said in my post the answer didn't involve 2 types of full moons. So, despite being "technically" correct and very informative, it's still not the right one, lol! I'm still somewhat surprised no one has picked up on what I was putting down (another hint...sort of) :-?

ChromeDreams,

Wolf Moon – January(4th 2015 @ 11:53 pm EST) Amid the cold and deep snows of midwinter, the wolf packs howled hungrily outside Indian villages. Thus, the name for January’s full Moon. Sometimes it was also referred to as the Old Moon, or the Moon After Yule. Some called it the Full Snow Moon, but most tribes applied that name to the next Moon.

Full Corn Moon or Harvest Moon – September(27th @ 10:50 pm EST) This full moon’s name is attributed to Native Americans because it marked when corn was supposed to be harvested. Most often, the September full moon is actually the Harvest Moon, which is the full Moon that occurs closest to the autumn equinox. In two years out of three, the Harvest Moon comes in September, but in some years it occurs in October. At the peak of harvest, farmers can work late into the night by the light of this Moon. Usually the full Moon rises an average of 50 minutes later each night, but for the few nights around the Harvest Moon, the Moon seems to rise at nearly the same time each night: just 25 to 30 minutes later across the U.S., and only 10 to 20 minutes later for much of Canada and Europe. Corn, pumpkins, squash, beans, and wild rice the chief Indian staples are now ready for gathering.

Factoid: Harvest Moon is also a video game for Nintendo SNES first, then other consoles like Playstation. ;)

Thanks in advance,
Don

The way I take my pain-relieving/mind-focusing/sense-of-well-being botanical remedy Kratom: I use the orange juice/white grapefruit juice method. I first pour about 6 oz. of juice in a 12 oz. size cup. I then add my powdered Kratom mix to the juice. It can take several minutes to get the Kratom mixed in pretty well. Before my recent 18 day wash-out I was using 20 grams of Kratom (I'm using 20 12 now). Once it's mixed to my satisfaction, I gulp it down quickly. I then add another 2 to 4 ounces of the juice again, swish it around real quick, and then take small sips as I spin the cup around to get all of the leftover Kratom material from the sides. Once in a Harvest Moon I'll have to repeat that step again :-? Sha-Zam! Now you're done, and you just ensured you got ALL of the alkaloids too! Not a bad method, in my opinion. It takes about 5 minutes or so, and it's easy enough to do when you're in a hurry.

A couple of quick notes: the Kratom is definitely more effective if you have an empty stomach. It will take roughly 20 to 30 minutes to start really feeling it, and plateaus at it's optimal level in about an hour. This is the way my experience usually goes, although once in a Wolf Moon the effect will differ a little from the norm. Everybody is different, so your mileage may vary, of course. I'd love to hear how/what some of your experiences are, especially from those who use Kratom in a similar way. What's your timeline, effects, feelings etc.

EXTRA CREDIT / BONUS PRIZE ---- > Because of all the pleasure I've had reading this informative forum, I'd like to give some entertainment/pleasure back to y'all. Please note: Jeffrey/Pharmacy Dropout has no knowledge, nor any involvement, in this silly little game/thing I'm doing here. I'm just trying to have a little fun and give something back to this fine community. Much thanks to each and every one of you for indulging me and my sometimes long (and possibly/probably boring) messages. If at anytime you've managed to make it through even one these often verbose posts, and were able read them through without falling asleep, you deserve a prize!!!

Toss and wash worked for me the first time I tried, but the next time, I ended up choking and gagging and had a dry irritated throat (and was retching like crazy) for the next day. Then I tried filling my own capsules, but I didn't seem to be getting much from the dose. I kept switching things up, but the capsules just didn't seem to dissolve well or something. Then i mixed it in applesauce. It looked like baby poop, and tasted horrible.

Finally, I think I found something that seems to work. I fill the capsules, and tamp it down, but instead of putting the other end on, I put in with the opening facing down my throat and swallow it that way. It seems to work well, and I can't taste the kratom, which is good. I make sure I drink lots of water, too, so that it will help flush the powder out of the capsules, and help the capsule dissolve better, too. I'm thinking that this way, even if the capsules aren't dissolving as well, the open end allows the powder to spill out anyway, so its more like toss and wash, but without the risk of choking or puking again.

awe thank you so much for sharing @releasethekratom :) that sounds like a simple way to get around the very earthy taste that comes along with Kratom =D>
