Thanks Laurie! I drink a liquid IV with at least a gallon of water every day, but I think I might start putting 2 in my gallon jug for even more electrolytes. I'm trying 1 gram doses instead of my 2.5 to 3 gram doses. Hopefully with the extra electrolytes and low doses I can figure this out. If it persists at that level, I think I'll just have to stop taking it, but it will be easy at that low of a dose.

Welcome to the best kratom forum ever, Newmexicokrato! Electrolytes are not always in water. Keeping hydrated with kratom OFTEN requires extra electrolytes in my metabolism. Headaches remind me to put it in my water.

Hope your fix is that simple. Glad you’re here, good topic!

Interesting I never considered lowering a dose might be the cause also. I need my Red dose higher than a green or white.
Keep us updated we all go through times when kraton is not doing what we want.

Try eating a small snack shortly after dosing, something as simple as an apple or banana can really change the overall effect. Last night I felt a little off after dosing and a few pieces of candy cleared it right up. I think a lot of us unintentionally change our eating schedules to burn on a nearly empty stomach. The normal hunger pangs get suppressed by kratom and other signs/symptoms eventually take their place.

For the past 4 or 5 days I have stuck with strictly reds. I even moved down to 1.5 grams per dose. I'm thinking maybe it's even WD related and I should try a 4g dose. Not really sure what to do, yoga seems to help though so I've been there alot.

Are you taking only one color? Do you take only whites?

For me- I am more likely to get a headache from Whites.
The one time I experienced a headache from taking a Red is when I vendor switched. Red Borneo same dose, headaches the whole time. Someone suggested this vendor's Borneo might be stronger( alkaloid stuff) I no longer get headaches, I tried it again with a slight lower dose and I think I got used to it.

But you are describing that adjustments and getting used to it don't help.

I have had to times when Kratom has brought forward a problem I was already having. For example I lack sleep, and I am going through peri menopause all causes of brain fog. A sedative Red will exaggerate this.

So I thought my headaches were gone, but they have come back with vengeance!I just don't understand it. I take teas for the digestive issues I was experiencing and everything has been going great for the past 3 weeks. Out of no where my tension headaches came back with just about every dose. I even lowered the dose to 1.5 grams a dose. Anyone have ideas on what I can do? I stay extremely hydrated btw

I recognize the fact that I'm a kratom noob. I'm at the end of day 2 and I'm pleased as punch with my results so far. I started of with red bali by the way.

My first burn yesterday was not pleasant stomach wise. It wasn't horribly terrible either. But it just hit me fast in the belly. But I certainly did get a weird headache! My error was pointed out to me that I burned on an empty stomach. I don't see that it was brought up here, hence why I chimed in.

Today I burned 30 minutes after breakfast by putting kratom in warm water (1g in 4oz) and chasing with juice. 30 minutes latter I repeat with another g.

I've also read that Greens or reds in Bali, Borneo and indi are the mildest and most recommended for newbies like us. I couldn’t find any green from the vender because they were sold out while they had everything else. It seems the greens are the most popular.

I'm on day two. I'm starting out with low burns slowly administered 1g at a time. This I'm told eases the introduction to the body. I'm not going higher than 2g in an hour. After that I wait for at least 10 hours to pass before I go a it again.
So far my results have been amazing in just two days.

I certainly hope my limited experience is taken into consideration. I hope your experience improves greatly.
