That's the Great thing about Kratom. It does not get you High. Kratom is a Mild Herb but has so many Benefits that far outweigh the very minor side effects.

Kratom works like this:
If you Feel Bad Kratom will make you Feel Normal.
If you Feel Normal Kratom will make you Feel Good.
If you Feel Good Kratom will make you Feel Great.

There are just so many Variables to how Kratom will effect you. We will forever be Learning about Kratom it seems. I just hope it stay Legal so we can Continually Study this Special Plant. It just Treats so many Problems all at once. If Doctors only knew what Kratom can do then they would be telling all their Patients with Pain, Anxiety, Drug WithDrawals, Addiction & Depression to start taking it.

Strangely the 90% kava extract from PDO is strong. And after the 1st time trying it i thought i would use it more.
Being that i've used hardcore drugs and alcohol the majority of my life i thought i would be more interested in something thats strong.

but luckily the opposite happened and i only used maybe 3 x's.
i actually prefer the kratom over something stronger. I'm yet to ever feel "high" off kratom. and i take a decent amount and have also used enhanced and kratom extract.
I just feel like an "average/normal" person feels..,meaning happier and not miserable.
Kratom has also helped with about 10 things regarding my health in a positive way.
I have yet to find any sides from kratom.

Ok well that's good to know. I know I tried some Full Spectrum Extract Kava in Kava Gel-Cap Form from Ebay about 7 years ago & it was so strong that all I needed was one Capsule & just one usage. I guess the Reverse Tolerance depends on the Type of Kava. There are many types of Kava.

Just Remember that Kava has a Reverse Tolerance. You have to take it at least 3 days before you will feel it's Full Effects.

Tried the PDO 90%. It is everything I hoped it would be.

I use mine by the teaspoon. I'm too lazy to make tea. Expect this kava to numb whatever part of your mouth it touches. It feels good, you'll be relaxed. No buzzing feeling like you get from some of the Tudeis.
I have used Kava from Bula House, evem Fred Meyers natural section, also Herbstomp, and a bunch of other places.

This guy has a good product.

Most of the time I think extracts are BS, but this is different. PDO is going to be my new supplier for Kava. Now I gotta do so some trials with Kratom from him too, I use Kratom as medication so I am afraid to switch from Gaia to him but I think a trial might be in order. His pricing is a bit higher but if the quality is like the Kava, then it will probably be fine. Plus he's and Oregon guy if I am not mistaken. Oregon is God's country.

This is an interesting topic. Additional thoughts- I have tried the higher % extract of kava but I am wrong but are most kavas sold as extracts. My other botanicals are mostly extracts Corydalis, Chuchuhuasi,Incarvillea sinensis. These other botancials are not known to have tolerance issues. I would never consider kratom extracts because of
the known tolerance issues and I am already successful with low doses.
Alcohol has different proofs yet wine would make me sleepy much faster than 100 proof gin.
I do not know where I am going with this but I feel kava is more in line with the "other" botanicals.

I have tried the 90% Kava from PDO. My first time I ever tried kava and I went large lol.
I micro dosed I guess about 200mg to 300mg.
I did not find it overly sedating but since I have never tried kava before this could be just me.

Do a keyword search under ‘90% kava” and all of the discussions about it will come up. I did that search and it works. It’s easier to suggest you do the search than for me to copy and paste each link here for you.

Let us know how you feel about trying it after you’ve read those VERY RECENT discussions.

I did not find it SUPER SEDATING, but I used it for insomnia during an antidepressant experiment that caused insomnia as one of the side effects. So my purpose was quite different than what yours is.

I like Kava that will make me relax (not fall asleep) and maybe give me a little "twang" or sense of euphoria.
I read about PDOs 90% extract. is that good for people like me.
For instance:
Everyone knows that people have been chewing coca in the Andes Mountains for a long time, Coca was not a problem until some chemist/scientist decided to reduce it down to cocaine, than it became a big problem.
I am not suggesting that Kave = Coca, what I am asking is does an extract change the way I would experience Kava. Would it still be relaxing and euphoric, or would it just be another sedative.
One thing I have noticed about Kratom is that it tends to be non-addictive. Taking more doesn't make you feel better, but it can make you vomit. So there seems to be some natural, built in protections for humans who are susceptible to tolerance and neuroplasticity. (I use less Kratom now than I did 10 years ago when I first started)
Anyway, Kratom is medication for me, Kava is more for fun. Are extracts good for "fun" or do they reduce the kava down to just a sedative.
