I read somewhere years ago to fly with kratom unopened in the original bag. I've flown many times with no problem. I'm always a little nervous, though!

Nice one kratomgator , I wouldn’t want to travel without it either , I’m a staunch believer that one should have kratom close by at all times... most of the time lol, ... pretty much all the time B-) great herbal ally to have around!(L)
Life is better with kratom !

I will tell you what I do, not that I recommend it... I travel with mine as loose powder in an protein powder container (such as vega) in checked luggage. I have flown between states and internationally, to about 4 countries this way. Or I simply put in a zip-lock bag on which I label, "supplement" or "protein powder". I can't travel without!

My hair has its own dew point forecast. The bigger the more humid. Defies the most expensive smoothing hair products.

I am travelling from PHL to LAX in July. I ordered some capsules and plan on keeping them in the original bottle in the checked suitcase. I am going to get the days of the week pill container from the drug store and cap some of my supplements and a few extra kratom and put that in my purse.

The only issue about powder
Powder-like substances over 12 oz. or 350mL in carry-on that cannot be resolved at the central checkpoint will not be allowed onto the cabin of the aircraft and will be disposed of. For your convenience, place powders in your checked bag.

Hi there-

I have flown several times with Kratom in my luggage. I use capsules and leave in the original container. Never encountered any issues. As mentioned earlier, I put in the checked luggage. I think taking in in powder form might attract some scrutiny. I was anxious the first time I did this. However, I read on another forum that as long as one is not landing in a state that it's illegal it shouldn't be a problem. I hope this helps

Hope you’re cool with frizzy hair :-D

The climate up here is very rarely accommodating to smooth hair. The ocean breezes n stuff...

I’ve been trying to beat the frizz for YEARS! Can’t be done! Hahahaha (such problems)...Somethingsacred was so right about layering. We have 4 seasons A DAY!

Can’t wait for your “reviews” after or during your trip!

Plus THEN you can be our “ILK Forum Travel Agent” regarding how to pack for the next person!

Yay!

Thinking Ill be fine too. It's in a plastic 250g tub, says herbal supplement, exactly what it is. I read all this stuff about people being paranoid but if it's legal where you have it, why be. Nice to meet you too. Yep, packing layers, can't wait to walk the beach!

Hey and welcome Janis,

I’m thinking that there’s no reason for concern, your not breaking any law ... so bring what you need , all your favs and have a great trip, San Francisco is a different kind of city, the fisherman wharf has some great food options, great clam chowder!! Bring layers of clothing, tends to be foggy at odd times where you need to add or shed a layer throughout the day. Nice to meet you and though I haven’t traveled with kratom, my thoughts are you’ll be just fine

Take care

Welcome to the best kratom forum ever, Janisjoplin77!

Sounds like you’re having a case of - travelers anxiety. I get it bad, too.

Finding the right strain for anxiety is tricky since it varies so drastically. I’m using a white Borneo for bedtime! Talk about unexpected! I had hoped it would be great for starting the day!

Others will share their opinions on how to pack. It’s all subjective.

Also, use the SEARCH tab up in the columns above to find specific discussions related to your interests of the day for INSTANT ANSWERS lots of times.

Hope you like it here!
