Hi, I used Venmo for the first time the past week, with the payment going through within the hou. (I was using Phamacy Dropout and Christopher Organic Botanicals.
The payment was received within the hour and these two vendors got it out next day. Venmo had me worried, but.... it was fine.

Hope this helps

Thank you for your in depth reply. I just ordered from Jeff at PDO using Venmo (it's a transfer app similar to Google Wallet) and it worked fine, it's almost instant. Ask Jeff about it if it's not on the payment options on his site

Hi everybody I am SO SORRY if I caused any concern. I didn't mean to make it seem like there was some widespread issue!!

I've used PDO Botanicals and COB's alternate payment options of Venmo and it went through fine. Again I apologize if I put any confusion out there, I just was nervous about using these 'wallet' apps.

UNT, I'm with you. I don't get all these alternative payment methods. But what is a minor inconvenience to me (getting a money order) is a matter of survival for our vendors. I really appreciate the fact that they are unwilling to risk our information with a shady processor. I've actually been fascinated by the idea of Bitcoin since first hearing about it. If I find a good tutorial on the subject, I will post it. I'm not giving my bank account info to anyone.

This is a real issue right now.
We are working on a processor this week.
For now we do take venmo
Circle pay
Google wallet
Pop money
PayPal friends and family only considering they hate kratom.
Money orders and checks.
I also have echeck which is easy enough.
I do understand the issue needing to pay with credit cards and we are working night and day to fix it.
Google operation choke point and you'll better understand what we are facing.
I do not want to use an off shore processor and won't.
That puts information in jeopardy.
Please rest assured we are doing everything possible to get this issues worked on.
There are plenty of safe person to person payment systems out there and we are using them.
Sorry for the inconvenience.
Have a great weekend

Lately I have been buying from COB using money order. It is a little bit of a PITA buying and filling out the money order form but Chris doesn't wait until he receives the money before sending out the kratom, he sends it out right away.

I understand how this issue causes problems with not only the vendors but the customers.

I'm not savvy with computers. Idk how to use PayPal and I find bitcoin confusing! I know you can sign up through a couple of sites for bitcoin. I understand the concept. I don't understand how many bitcoins you get per dollar.

It seems to change, correct? I don't want to have to figure out how much I'm actually paying by using bitcoin. I hope this makes sense??

If someone has the patience to explain this to me I'd appreciate a PM. I hate to hear that C.O.B no longer takes CCs. I've wanted to buy from PDO but again no CC. Jeff accepts checks but that's also a hassle, at least for me. He is recommending customers use Bitcoin.

My financial situation is complicated. Simply put, I rely on a very close family member to pay for my purchases. This is embarassing for me to admit. However, I cannot work due to various health issues and getting Disability takes Forever!

I don't think payment by check would be easily done. I trust Jeff of PDO based on His Excellent Reviews. I'd consider buying by check from him. I'd never buy from a vendor Idk enough about by check. I personally wouldn't use echeck.

I fear that the info could be obtained illegally by hackers and the like.

I've heard of Venmo through Joe from Re-leaf LLC. I'll look into this.

Idk why the Government Is Making It So Difficult For Citizens To Purchase An Herb. This IS Absolutely Frustrating!

This is ALL because of Big Pharmaceuticals Lobbying!!
