For those of you who meditate, do you do it in the middle of a dose of Kratom or do you do it between doses?

I'm not sure but I think my mind might race TOO MUCH without Kratom to be able to meditate effectively.

I’m the opposite. My mind races more from kratom, but I’m using tiny doses so it’s FAR from relaxing or sedating. I purposely need the help MOVING MY BODY and kratom is helpful (along with coffee. I also found Rhodiola helpful for task management but my BP was UP while using Rhodiola, so I dont use it much. I got some in caps as a gift from MADMAX and the capsules are not even full!

I’m getting to be a lightweight as I age lately - haha

I like using Laughing Lion’s kratox product for mellow time/minor pain relief. It has kavalactones and wild lettuce in it, plus Javanica speciosa and a few other alternatives that help me CHILL OUT without using higher doses of kratom.

The proprietary ingredients are less expensive and available separately at many APPROVED VENDORS for chillin and/ or meditation.

Hope you get replies from other folks! Cool question! I can learn from this thread if people post.

Hope you’re doing well, PhillyCheeze!

Hey Philly , Laurie :-h

I think quite often how some kratom varieties would lend a nice meditative aspect ... some green and reds .. or golds..

Though I don’t intentionally sit down and meditate , a lot of my doses feel meditative for sure ... I think it would be great shortly into a dose taking effect.... if/when I sit down to meditate , I’ll definitely report back .... I have a couple strains come to mind ... one which I can’t say at the moment cause it’s not on the site yet... had a preview of it though , very nice red strain... well it's a red Hulu from a favorite vendor of mine , I’ll post when it’s available!!

Gold md from Soflo , gold md from Mitra Man ,
Green and white kapua 50/50 Blend from fused Flora

Good to see you here Phillycheese , happy meditating!!

I do not meditate, I tried for a minute or two here and there, complete failure. I think in between doses wouldn't be as effective.
Have you tried Kava and meditation? Kava helps quiet the internal chatter.
So does Rhodiola Rosea, but some might find it much too energetic. I find it offers me a good balance.

I love Rhodiola (extract). But it’s a powerful energy herb and my BP goes up with use, so I’m going to try half doses if I can get the stuff inside the capsule cut in half (I’ve got some lovely 4:1 extract of 700mg each).

I’ve tried the regular herb in the past and it was not helpful for my depression. But times have changed since then! Maybe I’ll try the regular herb again if opportunity presents itself. Meaning it shows up in my mail for free. Lol lol

Neither. Personally in my opinion, that's the whole point of meditation - to get over ANYTHING affecting you in a way you don't want it to, which goes for Kratom too! The mind is a powerful thing! It might just be challenging you to grow even more ;)

Hi Nan70!

I wonder if you could advise me on finding a good Rhodiola Rosea product/source. I have tried a couple different sources but had no benefits. Thanks!

I have been studying and practicing Buddhism for approx 3 years. The way I learned to meditate was to follow my breathing and to become aware of breathing in and out so as to get into my body and stop thinking. To enter mindfulness and become present in this moment whatever it is and that is where life is, away from the chatter of my head. There is suffering and joy there. The Buddha said, no mud, no lotus. Meditation is a practice not a theory, thats just more head chatter.

I have much pain in my body, in many areas. So much, that even with medication I could not bear to live wth the daily pain. Just before I found Kratom, I picked up a card for a suicide hotline. Kratom has helped me so much with the pain and I believe the other alkaloids heal in other ways. I have meditated at any phase of using the Kratom and the absence of much of the pain has helped me to be more present in my meditation. Kratom does not affect my mind much.mostly the pain. I believe Kratom is a sacred plant given to us for healing and those that abuse it will be instrumental in causing the people that live in fear to make it illegal.I have meditated on Kratom quite a bit and decided i want to try to get the kratom from the wild forests. In fact as soon as I am well enough, I want to go to Indonesia and meditate in the Kratom tree forest and watch the trees. mmmm.
