Incense is Terrible, and should not even be in the same sentence as Kratom..

Personally, I like OnlineKratom's disclaimer the best.

Federally, kratom is not legal to sell for consumption, regardless of state laws.

I still don't like the incense labeling, because to me, it's a headshop type labeling, and it sounds a lot like spice or things of that nature to me. That's the sort of feeling I get from it anyway. Also, as an incense it's certainly not as good as Nag Champa!

No, I do not believe that it should. For states, like Illinois, that have legalized kratom for individuals 18+ I think that vendors should not have to worry about "not for human consumption" or "as an incense only" product. Now, for states that have not put it on the books as officially legal I could see, from a vendor's standpoint, why this would be used to negate any legal liability that could arise from sales.

This has long been a debate on numerous websites and forums. These press releases from the FDA's website should answer that question. These don't address Kratom directly but they do address the terms "incense" and "not for human consumption". I'm surprised the release from January wasn't posted sooner. Hope this sheds some light.
