Naturally and with excitement I went for this to try first and was very surprised by the smell and taste. Like the plantation burned down and they didn't want to waist the Kratom ash lol! A Forrest fire in your mouth..Anyway I did the old Google search and nothing and started a Reddit thread to see if anyone has info on what exactly this is. So maybe someone here has some info? I emailed my exporter and he said its fermented. I then asked why? He said for taste it takes away the bitterness..lol needless to say we share different opinions to the taste. Effect wise I'm not getting anything, yet I know it does something as I would feel this as well. Almost seems like a stem and vein. Anyone had experience with this stuff or any info on it? Someone also suggested that this is supposed to be used like chewing tobacco and is popular to the part of Indo I recieve leaf from. In the pics a red horn which is dark is left, a chocolate in the middle, and black on right.

I read about black Kratom on PharmacyDropOut, under the strain coffee...its on the first page of his botanicals section in the description. It says its a failed attempt to dry properly that turns it black.
