Yes I also like mixing green and red for more mild experiences. I also drink the water, when I can remember :)

I've bought some blends from PDO Botanicals... I usually use PA Botanicals ( www.pabotanicals.com ) to buy most of my stuff.

This is so subjective, it's difficult to say. I believe that kratom is technically illegal in Malaysia, so who knows what you're really getting?

Have you considered mixing a green and a red for a middle of the road experience? I've only recently started doing it, since I try to keep a solid 7ish day rotation, and would only use a single strain per day.

I have been very happy with a 50/50 of PDO Botanicals green and red Sumatran MD, 6 gram style. Energy, pain relief, and not too speedy. I find a lot of whites to be a little too fast.

Oh, and I am certain that drinking a big glass of water before and after ingestion helps tremendously, at least for me.

My first time ever trying Kratom I used green Malay and had a terrible experience. It made me real anxious and jittery for hours and I couldn't wait for it to end. I realize now it was probably a bad batch because there was nothing good about it. Lol. I've tried greens since then but never a Malay.

Hey all,
I would second the vote green malay is my favorite for energy and pain relief. Red md is great but a bit more sedative.I am also a tradesman in his 50's and had terrible pains from years of construction and I like green malay dissolved in warm water (maybe a quarter cup I then add or top off with cold oj) stir...goes down easy and I am ready for the day. I cant toss n wash I gag every time.
At work I just add to oj let it sit till the powder sinks then shake. I use the convenience store single servings of oj I drink a bit so there is room for kratom. I have found it dissolves much slower in cold drinks so I dont put the oj in my cooler.
Hope this helps.

I would say Bentuangie but that's just my opinion because everybody reacts differently.

Mareshan, I like the Red Bali or a Red Maeng Da best for pain. I don't know how new you are to this, but the toss and wash method gets easier. Everyone has some failures where it doesn't go down your throat or it goes all down your shirt instead. It's funny watching new people get it stuck all in there mouth. I've been there before, but now I get a sip of whatever liquid in the back of my throat, spoon it straight to the back of my throat and straight down. Super smooth. It gets way easier with time. JDkarlson13, I've been researching vendors in Indo for a while now and friends with some on FB. Are you getting 11 Kilos or they broke it down. If you could PM after you get it and let me know how the transaction went down and who you got it from. I'd really appreciate it. I'm gonna do an order soon either way. Peace guys!

Thanks for replying. So sorry you are struggling with pain. It sure can be challenging!! My best strain, Red Indo, was in capsule form and expensive, but the powder was so vile, I couldn't stand it. But, I may just have to bite the bullet and go back to powder from Indonesia, like you.

I think the literature would suggest Red Bali or Borneo, but those put me to sleep. I find green Malay and red maeng da give me the energy to get through a hard day in the construction industry and I have chronic tendinitis and I believe a broken bone in my wrist (no money to see the doctor or by able to afford to miss work:(. I like green Malay because it gives me the energy and motivation to getting through the day especially when the work is laborious/tedious. I have 11 strains enroute from Indonesia---I'll post back with which ones the winner;)
